These 50 psychology graduate programs all received top ratings from students and graduates. The majority of schools offer tuition for under $30,000 a year, and six of the schools have tuition rates under $15,000, giving students several affordable options. Students have provided feedback on networking capabilities, quality of education, student diversity, and campus safety, among other factors.

Student reviews cover the quality of the program itself as well as career preparation. One La Salle University graduate said, "The faculty are very knowledge and available to students for advice not only about course work but future opportunities once you graduate." Washington University in St Louis psychology graduate students highly valued their program with one student noting the exceptional access to resources, including those at the medical campus. Methodology

Our goal in presenting this school data is to create a standardized and trustworthy method to assess institutions based on reliable statistics. In order for a school to be eligible to be featured on a Top Programs List, at least five students from that particular major must have submitted feedback on their institution.

Together with our internal recommend rate data, which is calculated based on tens of thousands of student reviews submitted to our site, the data used in the school listings were gathered in 2015-2016 from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). This site is the primary governmental entity for gathering and presenting data related to education. NCES data is updated annually. However, in many cases the most recently available data will not be for the current academic year. Additionally, tuition rates may vary by program, so prospective students should contact a representative from your institution of choice for more details.
