Student & Graduate Reviews

3.6 out of 5.0
Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2001

The professors in the Psychology Department at Alma College are diversified in their specialties and philosophies. I had fun and learned a great deal from all the professors, with their varied personalities and approaches, and I graduated having widened my view and breadth of psychology. I entered as a freshman excited to learn all I could; I left with a BA in Psychology with a greater awareness of what I still have to learn, while gaining a greater sense of confidence in applying the knowledge I obtained to my career. I have been working in the mental health field for over 14 years. I am returning to school to obtain my MA in Clinical Psychology to become a psychotherapist. I look forward to building upon the fundamentals that I learned from the Psychology Department at Alma College.
