I dont have enough words to describe my level of satisfaction with Amberton University, so at least I can write this review as my appreciation. A great level of hard work, persistence and dedication led to my graduation on a timely manner. Even better, the tuition is fair and I was able to pay as I go and graduate without a student loan. Programs are offered online and on campus. I graduated from Amberton University on the Fall in 2016. I majored with my Masters Degree in Family Studies. My program took 36 semester hours (12 classes) that included 12 hours of electives in counseling. I had the privilege to be a full time student, but the program was made to accommodate students from all backgrounds. The materials were interesting, challenging and the professors were doctors and well reknown professionals in my field of study. The technology system is reliable, and the University also has a great library system. After graduating, I decided to take my second Masters Program at ASU Arizona State University, because its a local university near me, in the state of Arizona. I though ASU would be harder or different, but to my surprise, I could find Amberton University as having the same level of quality or better. The Family Education Program from Amberton is very competitive if compared to others, also because Amberton Program in Family Studies includes 12 hours of electives in counseling that I will be able to apply to my work on a daily basis. According to my opinion, Amberton is a leader in the field of counseling programs in Texas. It was the best decision I ever made!

I really enjoyed going to Amberton University. The Professors were very engaging with their students and I learned a great deal in every course I took there. I received a promotion at my job within 10 months of completing my degree.

Amberton University is an excellent college for working adults! The program has flexible schedules and various location. Their passing rate for counseling certification was 100% when I was enrolled. I highly recommend this school, but be advised there is not financial aid.

Amberton provides a great system to support remote and professional working students. The classes are flexible with great professors who use real world situations to teach skills that are applicable. The professors take a sincere interest in their students and provide great resources to all students even online through the distance learning classes.

I am entirely pleased with the Graduate Program that Amberton University offers. I am enrolled in the online program and it seems identical to the curriculum that would be offered for an On-Campus student. The program is also completely affordable which allows me to achieve my educational goals without putting myself further into Student Loan debt. The professors are awesome! They ensure that you are challenged by learning and applying your educational knowledge to your daily work life, and they have also help amplified my perspectives on how a business completely operates psychologically. I would say the only con for Amberton as a Graduate Level Online Student is that I would love to actually meet all of my professors one day to thank them for a job well done!

This is actually a great university! Very affordable, challenging, and my professors have been very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, I am an online student and a lot of this information is not applicable or is unknown.

Amberton is a very accessible University, and the costs of fees and tuition are very affordable. Amberton has a great curriculum, and you get the chance to connect with students and professors from all around the world. I enjoy the networking and the opportunity to connect with people from various organizations who are in a wide range of career fields. One thing I dislike about Amberton is their financial aid options. They don't take government funding so you have to use Tuition Reimbursement or pay out of pocket or get a Sallie Mae student loan. I hope that eventually we can go through FAFSA and apply for aid for the courses. Other than that, I have really enjoyed and still enjoy my experience with Amberton University.
