"ELMSN leadership should be ashamed and do better. There are really good professors here, but there is an equal amount of horrible professors. Unfortunately leadership does not create a good learning environment for the Master nursing students. Everything is put together last minute and very disorganized. This really should have been fully online, bc we are teaching ourselves. Sorry to the good professors, bc they don’t get any credit bc the bad professors overtake the positives."

"This is the wish.com version of nursing schools. For the ELMSN, classes are extremely disorganized, professors do not teach, and some professors don't even know the material they are supposed to teach ("go ask so-and-so-professor-that-you've-never-met for questions on today's lecture"). When the professors do teach, they ask questions about the material and then do not give any answers or useful knowledge. The PowerPoints look unfinished- 3 or 4 words per slide and utterly devoid of content. Almost half the class failed the first exam for one class. This program should have been a guided at-home self-study. Oh, and you pay for everything on top of the private school fees. It's way too expensive for the quality. They make nursing seem like a joke. But good news- they don't like making new exam questions, so the exams should look about the same every year..."

"I am currently enrolled at Brenau Univeristy. I have reached the halfway point in my program and I am very excited. I have to admit that I was a little nervous about going back to school while working full time and being a single mom, but it is working out for me. I really like the how the classes are set up at the university. You only take one class, and meet once a week for six weeks before moving on to the next course. The workload can seem to be overwhelming, but as long as you pace yourself, keep an open line of communication with your professor, and seek guidance from the members in your cohort you will feel much better about your schooling. The campus is very student friendly, and the professors can be very reasonable and are willing to work with you. The only thing I would really like for them to improve on is there internet server. It can be difficult to take advantage of your time when trying to accomplish tasks when the school has a very slow server or can't connect devices to the wi-fi. Overall, I think it is a great school, and I am already considering the same school to receive my specialist or doctorate degree."

"I really like the professors. No matter how busy they are, they always seem to make time for their students even if I contact them at 3am, I will still receive a reply in just a few minutes. They have a lot of connections outside of the school for job placements and faculty members work diligently to help find you job placements. The only negative thing about Brenau is that there is a not as much social events as some colleges."

"This is my first semester so I can't fully assess the school yet. But the interactions I have had with the faculty have been great! They are very helpful and willing to talk to you about whatever you need. This program offers a lot more than others, such as research and assessment."

"I am a first year graduate student so I have not yet had the privilege of experiencing everything that Brenau has to offer;however, I have had the opportunity to interact with a lot of the faculty and these are by far the friendliest and most helpful people that I have ever interacted with. The campus is very beautiful and kept immaculate. The only thing that could make attending Brenau even more pleasant is the surrounding area. If Gainesville had more to offer like some of neighboring cities (like Atlanta) it would be beyond perfect!"

"The program encompasses many aspects that most psychology programs do not include, such as research, assessment training, teaching, and hands on counseling experience. However, there is very little opportunity for financial aid"

"I enjoy being able to participate in both online and on-campus classes. It provides the flexibility that I need as a working professional. I can complete the online classes at my own pace. If I have questions, instructors are willing to provide guidance and support. They truly know their material and want students to succeed as professionals. However, sometimes it is difficult to get in contact with some of the departments or to get a consistent answer from some of the departments. For example, when I was accepted into the program, I received a financial aid award letter before I even received my acceptance letter. The registrar's office did not seem to want to help me because they did not think I had been accepted yet but I was already in the system. A little odd, but all the kinks were worked out with patience and time."

"I was recently accepted into a new program at Brenau University for my Master's in OT. So far, it is a great field, an accredited program, and the faculty and staff are very nice, but the program and university are a little disorganized. I am starting very soon, and still know little about the program."

"I feel the pros are it is a great school to get your graduate degree. The staff is highly trained and experienced. They take the time to listen to your needs. The school is good about sending out email notifications. The school gets the students involved. The cons are the cost of tuition and cost of books. The cost of education has gone up a lot in the recent years."

"I have learned so much at Brenau, and I am very glad that I selected this school. The teachers are very experienced and everyone truly cares about helping you learn, grow, and accomplish your personal and career goals. The program is fairly priced. When I started, the tuition for the field of education was a great value, but the rates have significantly increased over the past two years. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend the school. If you are planning to be a teacher, this is a great place to learn and grow in this profession."

"I will begin my graduate degree in Jan 2013. I did complete my undergraduate at the same school that I will be attending graduate school. The transition from undergrad to grad has been fairly smooth with on a few snags. Needless to say these snags have been compounded with the hustle and bustle of the holidays making the resolution process a not-so friendly environment. I do feel confident that there is a smooth and efficient resolution in the near future and that my start date will not be affected."

"Pursuing this graduate program;MBA in healthcare management to be precise was the anticipated demand of healthcare personnel in the years to come as a result of the healthcare reform(obamacare) which was upheld by the supreme court. First of all analysing the salient impacts of this healthcare reform. Healthcare reform and all its provisions are already making hospitals find new ways to increase facility efficiency, better manage care and streamline costs. Renovating hospitals to cut down on operating expenses. Another method is implementing new programs enacting nurse call center which in the long run will adversely drop emergency room trips etc.As a result of these demands for healthcare consultants which I aspire to be after graduation will be one of the skills in high demand to facilitate this provisions. However, with my speciality in healthcare management and with the course structure mainly geared to the health field, in hind sight curbs your capabilities in a way in the administration aspect in other fields not related to the health field."

"Brenau University has one of the toughest programs I have ever had to endure. That being said, I feel like they are preparing me for real world knowledge and experience in the job field. The professors are extremely helpful and the students really collaborate to help anyone in need. When I graduate I will come out with the best education from one of the top design schools."
