"Within one year after graduation, I had doubled my salary. Within 10 years, my salary was up 400%. Before starting the program, I was a senior programmer analyst/project leader. Ten years later I was a vice president and chief information officer. I took a double concentration: business information systems, and general management. I worked in information technology"

"The professors embrace the commitment to work hard and achieve success. The professors agree that the quarter system is undesirable, and they foster the opportunity for students to build character to be prepared for the professional world. This school has been preparing me for further education in a grad program of my choice."

"CSUSB was . great school to attend to receive a degree in Kinesiology. The study had its own department and the teachers worked really well with the students putting them first and making sure the students understand and perform hands on experiences. They also provide various opportunities to get hands on training and experience to input on our resumes."

"Once a Coyote, always a Coyote! California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) alumni all feel the same! As alumni of the College of Arts & Letters English/Creative Writing concentration, I can attest to a positive, supportive and exciting educational experience. The Creative Writing professors are stellar: Published writers, all--an eclectic, interesting and knowledgeable group of individuals who do more than teach...they immerse themselves in the writing passion of their students. The special topic courses (reflecting the off-the-beaten-path interests of the professor's) offered are exceptional. For example, I spent an entire quarter delving into vampires! Vampires in modern fiction....vampires in the antiquarian era. CSUSB professor's keep things very interesting with workshops, topic courses and general courses, as well. I walked into CSUSB knowing only one thing: I wanted to write the very best I was able. I left with a world greatly expanded...a Pushcart Prize nomination, publishing credits, poetry readings (which I NEVER thought I could do), a book of prose completed, readings live on radio--all due to the support and guidance of a University with thoughtful, mindful and fun teachers and fellow students. I highly recommend the CSUSB English programs. They can change a life!"

"CSU, San Bernardino was a great School. The Kinesiology program was very well done and had a variety of classes and teachers. The Anatomy and Physiology Class was difficult but the labs were extremely helpful due to the use of cadavers and fake bones. The professors were always there to help you more, if you felt stuck on a certain topic and they were also very patient. I also appreciated the onsite internship programs they offered which helped put the new skills we learned to the test."

"CSU San Bernardino has positively impacted my life because I have felt immensely supported from day one. This institution has countless of programs and opportunities for student success. During the summer incoming freshmen students attend an orientation that is a two day, overnight experience in which they are provided with a dorm, assistance with registering for fall classes, a campus tour, and introduction to on-campus clubs and organizations. Personally, I became involved with the Student Assistance in Learning (SAIL) Program and have taken advantage of the advising services, Saturday studying before finals week, and access to adjunct courses. The adjunct courses helped me tremendously because a SAIL instructor would sit in the lecture I was enrolled in. The adjunct instructor would take notes and would provide scheduled lecture reviews and assistance with homework and test preparation. The campus also provided me with an opportunity to work on-campus through the Work Study office. I would definitely encourage students to apply to the work-study program when filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Being an on-campus student assistant allowed me to further network with staff and faculty. A huge takeaway from this campus experience is that if you are willing to ask, someone is more than happy to help!"

"California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB) is a wonderful school to get you connected to the community and challenge you in your classes. I am looking to further my education in Student College Personal and Administration work all because of the time spent in my undergrad working with fellow students. With in my degree, the professors for the pedagogy concentration are great. They do a great job at giving you ideas on how to manage classes and come up with creative lesson plans for students to take part in for when you are a future professor. I would highly recommend anyone to attend California State University San Bernardino."

"California State University, San Bernardino is a productive school to attend because of the diversity population of students. The professors are amazing, they teach differently than your traditional style, and really care about you. Also, the professors are very accepting as they teach in their own unique way rather than your usual by the book style. If you really want to get involved, there are plenty of clubs that you can join that will accept you into their group. Campus is really nice and everything is within walking distance with a lot of new building and many more to come. Coming to CSUSB will be a great experience."

"CSUSB is said to be a commuter school for students that live all over the IE. CSUSB has great resources for students, supporting staff, and great internship opportunities. There are many clubs and organizations available for students to get involved as well. CSUSB is located on the San Andreas fault line which is great for students that are in the geology majors because it makes it easier for students to learn about certain topics. CSUSB is known for their nursing and business programs and is ranked one of the top schools in California. In comparison UC schools and private schools CSUSB is extremely cheaper. CSUSB is a school of high diversity and students with all different types of SES attend. CSUSB has a student union which is a place for the student to relax during breaks and in between classes, the SU has different food places in which the students can grab lunch from, plus there are many centers that students can go to and meet other people; for example the cross cultural center, pride center, Latinx center, women center, among others. CSUSB had a library that has 5 floors in which students can go to get books but also is used primarily as a place to study with many study spots great for individual students or study group sessions. CSUSB is a medium size campus where most students decide to walk to class but many people to bike and/ or skateboard to class since certain building can be more spread out than others. CSUSB offers a psychology degree and they have a human development degree that many students can receive a dual major within 4-5 years because both of these majors have a huge overlap in classes. Apart from students obtaining a BA or BS students are able to get minor and certificates if they have a desire to. Faulty at CSUSB like to be available for students and offer guidance and extra support if needed."

"The CSUSB Kinesiology Department is exceptional. They truly care about their students and the material that is being taught. There was not one professor who I would consider as a poor one. They all love what they do and are so enthusiastic about your education. Not only was the department great, but the school was great in getting me through rather quickly. I was able to complete 88 units in one and a half years. The campus is beautiful as well. I genuinely enjoyed my time at CSUSB and I will very much miss it."

"California State University San Bernardino's supportive atmosphere was what I enjoyed most about this university. The programs, clubs, faculty, staff and even students were always willing to help me in my college career. Whether it was using the computer lab daily, spending time at the student union or utilizing the writing center everyone involved was always willing to help. The faculty, even though tough when it comes to academics, want you to learn and succeed and were genuine with their support. My experience at CSUSB was one I will never forget and cherish."

"I graduated with dual bachelors degrees in Psychology and Human Development in December of 2015. I initially came into CSUSB focusing on a BA in Psychology and ended up adding the dual BA in Human Development later on. The transition was really simple and 2 degrees ended up taking me 5 years. The dual BA offered me an internship opportunity that drove my passion into entering the field of social work and now I am starting my 2-year Master in Social Work program hoping to go for licensing in becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the end of it. I'm so satisfied that I chose to complete my 2 BA degrees at CSUSB. Overall, I have had a positive experience at CSUSB and I'm happy to be returning for my Masters!"

"CSUSB offers an affordable education experience compared to many of the universities available. The campus is very well laid out and the facilities are well kept. The school is always striving to improve and the improvements are visible and useful. With the current plan that has been approved by the state the school is working towards making the school bigger and better for the future. The campus in many ways makes you feel like you are in a city of your own, unattached from its actual location. Do not let the city it resides in be a factor in your decision for the school does a very good job at distinguishing itself as its own identity and location."

"I was very hesitant to do my masters degree at CSUSB because I had done my bachelors in English Linguistics there and I was looking to broaden my horizons. However, when I began looking into other masters programs outside of California I began to notice that they have Composition & Rhetoric and Applied Linguistics under two different colleges hence I would have had to choose between the two. What was ultimately the deciding factor in me applying to do my MA at CSUSB was the fact that I could do both Composition and Applied Linguistics because for us they are both under the department of English. Personally I believe that composition and applied linguistics go hand in hand and they are very difficult to separate. I love the MA program at CSUSB because they have found a way to intertwine both concentrations and offer me opportunities to put theory to practice. Through the masters program they offer us the opportunity to apply to the Teaching Associateship program which allows us to teach two quarters of the first year writing composition courses at CSUSB. Having this opportunity to teach my own class is an amazing opportunity that not every program offers. I have successfully completed one year in the masters program and look forward to completing my degree this upcoming year."

"The department of Communications was great! The instructors were caring, motivated, passionate, and helpful. They knew exactly what they were talking about when teaching each subject. Professors implemented student interaction to allow students to practice theories hands on."

"I decided to go back to school. and get my MA, I thought going to a cal state was my best choice, its not expensive and no question about its validity. Man what a mistake your totally on your own, no one on campus could help me , mostly just student workers, and everything else is on line. After a number of dead ends and delays, about eight to ten months went by because I had to wait for a new semester and classes were not being offered etc..Hate to say it , but I wish I just stated a name brand private non-profit."

"CSUSB was a very good school, even though I was only there to experience about 3 years of it, I would definitely recommend looking in this school. The campus was very beautiful and peaceful to just sit around at, there was always something going on during the week in front the Library. We had visits from Food trucks and even from the Blood Drive. Its not a very big campus, which I liked, and I never had any problems with teachers. They all work with you, if your struggling don't hesitate to ask."
