"Workload is reasonable considering this is a graduate level program. The city of Athens where UGA is located is a great college city with the ease of getting to the larger surrounding big cities like Atlanta. Bus transportation around this large campus is excellent."

"UGA's graduate program is extraordinarily rigorous, but the faculty and fellow student support you receive is unmatched. Expectations are high, but you in turn can expect to graduate with some of the strongest training in rhetorical and communication studies higher education has to offer."

"The pros of the program are the academic competitiveness, good faculty accessibility and support, flexibility in course curriculum, diverse courses offered and not too demanding work load. The cons are low financial aid, less career support and some outdated facilities."

"A good environment for research and since the college of engineering is a new college and the number of grad students is smaller than most of other peer schools, the students might enjoy a much wealthier academic environment, the teaching, studying room, advising, etc.."

"UGA has a variety of faculty members that provide a well rounded approach to learning. Their facilities are well maintained and much of the needed equipment for scientific research is available. Athens is a great city to live in, having just enough "stuff to do" without being overcrowded like so many other cities are."

"The graduate program I attended in the College of Education was a cohort based program, which I loved! It was nice to get to know my co-students and future colleagues. Many of us continue to stay in contact now, even years later and though our careers have taken different turns. I do feel that the education I received in my program was challenging and highly regarded, though so often the positive qualities of the school are overlooked for the football team."

"The university has excellent system of transportation for students. The on campus housing is very well maintained. The staff in my department as well as in other offices is very polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Being an international student, I expected to face some difficulties during the initial days. However, I did not face any, as everything was very systematic and well planned. The campus is very safe. One thing that I find problematic is that transportation is very limited on sundays and on game nights. And if you do not own a car, it can sometimes be a nuisance."
