"The University of San Francisco nursing school prides itself on diversity and social justice while providing a top tier education. The faculty have a vast wealth of professional experience which appropriately augments their lessons and all have been very supportive of the individual student experience. The entry level MSN is accelerated. The work is abundant, but manageable. The only potential drawbacks are that this school is expensive, and administratively disorganized at times. They will bend over backwards for you if you fall into specific demographics as well in an effort to promote their values regarding diversity and social justice as previously stated. The atmosphere is also liberal and sometimes radical liberal, though faculty do not impress their personal opinions onto students."

"In comparison to the greater University community, my specific program in public affairs works to bridge praxis to practice through utilizing practical applications of on the job research and task assignment simulations to best prepare their graduates. Perhaps the greatest con to the program is its young age."

"The graduate nursing program at USF is expensive, but the pay-off will make up for the cost of tuition. Scholarships are available, but the amount is not enough to make a huge difference in the price of a semester. The administration seems to be quite disorganized, but this will hopefully turn around in the next year or so. Career services is great for business majors, but do not often offer healthcare career support. This is left to the instructors of the school of nursing, and the significance they place on career-building is completely subjective. The campus is beautiful, with panoramic views of the city. One 20 min bus ride will bring me to the beach or downtown. Bars and shops are nearby on Divisidero Street as well as Haight Street and the Inner Richmond. I do wish that graduate students had access to USF's Law Library, as midterm and finals week studying in the main campus library is incredibly packed and chaotic."

"The program is small with more opportunities to learn at a deeper level. I wish there were more financial support."

"The classes are amazing because you are able to communicate easily with the professors during classes and they also have office hours which you can go to. Since most of the classes are small professors care about their students. The dorms are very inviting and the views are spectacular. There are many ways to explore the city of San Francisco. The food in outake and crossroads is delicious."
