Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2015

I have completed three classes so far in the Public Health program. I have found the program to be both challenging and interesting. The instructors have been very helpful assisting as needed to help the student gain the knowledge needed from each class. Over all I have enjoined the start of my program.

It's a great school depending on the individual student's needs and stage of professional development. I would personally prefer a brick and mortar. There is no social interaction. Financial Aid does not collaborate well with other academic institutions. Faculty are a little hard to get ahold of. Tuition is tremendous.

Currently I am enrolled in the MBA program at American Public University. Compared to other online universities, the cost of tuition is significantly lower and the education is great. My only con about the program is that so far it seems like every class is done in the same format – main weekly discussion due midweek, assignment and discussion replies due by the end of the week.

Degree: Law
Graduation Year: 2015

It is an online program which is convenient and affordable. Contrariwise, one does not have the one-on-one interaction with the professor. More work is actually given online than attending class on campus.

Degree: Teaching
Graduation Year: 2015

Overall, I have been pleased; I attended this school for my MA as well (history). The online library is sufficient and I've never had a problem with instructors responding to me in a timely fashion. The only cons I have are in regard to the administration; I had a difficult time getting in touch with everyone who needed to sign me off for graduation for my MA, and it can also take several days for certain administration offices to respond to emails. However, the education I received there was great.

Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2015

Wish military tuition assistance paid for entire graduate courses like it would for undergraduate courses at APUS. The course work is challenging and all the professors I have are extremely involved in the online forums and give great feed back. Even though I wish the cost of a class was a little lower, it is still a great cost for a graduate degree. Hard to beat the prices elsewhere.

Degree: Accounting
Graduation Year: 2015

I had a wonderful experience at APU and that is why I am returning to earn my second Masters. The 8 week courses are perfect for someone like me who works full time and am a full time mother. I can finish classes quickly and in my spare time. I was challenged and feel I graduated with sufficient knowledge to lead a career in my chosen path.

Degree: Liberal Studies
Graduation Year: 2015

APUS works well with individuals that are working full time and going to school. They have a fantastic program that assists veterans in achieving their academic goals. On the downside, I would like to see doctorate programs in their science departments.

Degree: Public Policy
Graduation Year: 2014

The instructors were top-quality and interactive with the classes. The work load was occasionally a little heavy considering that many of the students were working full-time, but the professors were accommodating and understanding for the most part. The classes were pertinent to the real world and helped to prepare me for real world situations.

This program is a lot of work, but it teaches you a lot. I have learned a great deal in a short amount of time. I am a Humanities major.
