Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

There are many pros for the graduate program at ASU. I'm an alum, so the familiarity is a plus. The professors are great, and the school life is amazing. The communication with professors and administration is great. It's a great overall atmosphere. The graduate program is always very successful. The only con I can think of is money. There aren't very many scholarships available. I'm starting late in the process, so all financial deadlines are over. I'm relying on loans. This scholarship would really help.

Degree: Criminal Justice
Graduation Year: 2016

The criminal justice graduate program at Angelo State consists of solely online classes, which brings about a fair share of both pros and cons. I personally feel the pros out weigh the cons because it allows the student to work on their on pace and teach themselves much of the material. However, I can understand why some people may argue the opposite. With online classes, discipline is required. The professor is not always on hand for help, therefore,. the student must be disciplined to stay on top of their work as well as have the ability to work through problems on their own.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2017

A major pro of my program is that faculty take into account student input when scheduling program coursework. They also put a lot of focus onto student retention. The is a very cost conscious program even for out of state students. A con is the cost of living in San Angelo. There also needs to be more communication among the faculty regarding program content.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2014

Overall, this was a good program. The area was pretty bland, with not a lot to do, but that worked out because it was fewer distractions to keep me from school work! One pro is that ASU is working towards having more and more online programs so students can complete them from anywhere.

Pros- exceptional quality instructors and varied course assignments to allow individual creativity Cons- At times the online format of directions can get confusing, but I can always Skype or call if I need clarification.

Degree: Education
Graduation Year: 2017

While the CSRF program is still relatively new, the quality of the program is impressive. The faculty has true passion for providing quality education and they truly care that each of us succeed. The curriculum pushes us to think outside the box and challenges us to get involved in the community. ASU is more than just an institution to earn a diploma, it works to build you as a whole person, not just a student. With eight moves over the past 16 years I think I am eligible to assess community relations, and the city of San Angelo is the most supportive community I have ever been a part of. All in all ASU is a spectacular school in a community that welcoms all with open arms.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2017

ASU MBA program has been the best choice I ever made. My graduate advisor has been most helpful while I am in the beginning stages of my MBA. He has reached out to help me with not only my upcoming classes but also my professional development. I recommend ASU MBA program to any working professional looking to further their career.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2017

I am taking online courses and from the very beginning my graduate adviser has reached out to me and been very helpful. He even went beyond my degree plan and helped me with my career for after graduation. Overall I am very pleased with the school I chose, and would do it all over again.

The online program allows me to complete my assignments around my work and social schedule. The con is missing all of the activities offered on campus.
