I am a strictly online student so I cannot attest to the other categories but so far ASU has met my standards of education as far as quality and convenience.

With the applied program, I can design it to fit my interests. I can pick courses from different psychology fields and combine them to fullfill my needs. However, most courses are online. I feel as if I don't learn as much in online classes compared to in person settings.

Angelo State University has a wonderful online program that works for people who are still working full time. The classes are only eight weeks and very manageable.

This is a great graduate program. I am a mother to 3 girls and a wife. Plus I teach school full time, so the online program is wonderful for me to accomplish my goal as a school counselor. So far, I hold a 4.0 gpa.

The C & I graduate program at Angelo State University has been everything I could have hoped for as a graduate student. To start, while all of my grad school classes have been distance education course, the professors have been extremely proficient through e-mail response, Skype tutorials and Black Board interaction. The grading and response time is usually with 1-3 business days and I have been nothing but satisfied with the institution's professionalism. Next, the online course load offered is just as rigorous as the in-class alternative. The responsibility of time management is crucial towards the success of the student(s) but with the right mentality and determination, any student has the ability to be successful at ASU. Ultimately, the atmosphere of the Curriculum and Instruction department is extremely professional yet academic in nature. Any professor, for any course, is able to help with any question(s). Coupling the knowledgeable professors, the ease of at-home (distance) learning, and the competitive rigor of the work load, Angelo State University's M.Ed. program is exactly the graduate program to choose for individuals seeking meaningful continued education through a top-notch learning environment.

My Masters program prepares me to apply scientific theory into real life. The only problem I found in this program were that the faculty frowned upon students writing a thesis compared with the comprehensive examination after all coursework. After graduation, I would like to teach and pursue a PsyD.

A major pro to my graduate program is that the professors take more time to work directly with each student. The professors know that by going to grad school, we have chosen to advance our knowledge and are in classes we chose whereas as an undergrad, we took courses because we had to. A major con to my grad program is that each class is offered every other Fall or every other Spring. Therefore, if the advisors get off by one class, a student may get behind a semester or an entire year.
