The PhD in Leadership and Change at Antioch University is a dynamic and rigorous program for socially engaged working professionals. I was attracted to the program because of the flexible low-residency model and the interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum and faculty. The cohort structure provides a support system that encourages participation and facilitates learning. The residencies allow participants to network and build relationships with a diverse mix of professionals in a variety of industries, exposing students to new ideas, research and ways of thinking. The curriculum focuses on individual leadership and organizational change with a clear lens of social justice, ethics and diversity. The faculty are extremely supportive and interested in helping to develop your research interests, not their own. The research support provided through the program design and individual dedicated library resources is invaluable. A unique combination of personalized advising and mentoring , research guidance and support, and interdisciplinary study make this a powerful educational experience not just a program. I am proud to be a member of this community of social engaged, intellectually curious, dynamic leaders.
