Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2022

The classes are very mixed meaning you will have a little of everything, presentations, in class exams, take home exams, papers, and a lot of readings!! You get a well rounded experience. The curriculum is so far very well put together and they make sure you will have enough experience to prepare you for every level of your career. Instead of just focusing on therapy, you also get the assessment piece as well as research. I do like that about the program. You can also pick a concentration. Overall, great experience!

The financial services department is difficult to reach and can be frustrating. I recommend getting to know your instructors on a more personal level and keep in contact with them throughout your semester to ensure academic success. Use your peers as support in your programs. Argosy recently was purchased by a non-profit organization and moving away from "For Profit". This could be a good sign for future students.

Degree: Clinical Psychology
Graduation Year: 2019

The American School of Professional Psychology (ASPP) at Argosy University in Orange County has assuredly prepared me for working in the field of psychology. The full-time professors here are experts in their area, which provides students with a comprehensive understanding of subject material. In the Psy.D. program you will learn about cognitive and personality testing, conceptualizing patients, and how to effectively provide therapy to patients. There are several practicum opportunities as well. You will receive a year of diagnostic training, a year of therapy training, and a year of advanced training. Overall, Argosy provides its students with great opportunities to prepare oneself for entering the workforce. It is an intensive program, but the quality of education here is well worth it.

Argosy University, Phoenix, AZ is a great place to further your education. Argosy offers a variety of majors and has many dedicated professors to help you through the program. As a student I appreciate how helpful the staff is. Anything you need is available, all you have to do is ask! Argosy University also focuses a great deal on diversity which I believe is critical to our learning, as we have to work with a diverse population as a Psychologist. In closing, the best thing you can do for yourself is to educate yourself. Argosy University will do everything they can to help you achieve your goal, but do not forget it all starts with you! So check out a campus today.

Argosy has a great atmosphere for all students! Professors take extra time to ensure their students are succeeding in every aspect throughout their academic career. Advisors take the time to know each student they have and call regularly to check up on them and ensure that the student is on the right track. The campus truly makes you feel welcome!

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2017

The Clinical Mental Health counseling program at Argosy University prepares students for a career as a licensed professional counselor. The program consists of hybrid courses of on campus and online coursework. The population of students are diverse and mostly consist of working professionals. The coursework is very hands on and applications to work as a future clinician. The professors are very knowledgeable and approachable. Staff are friendly and competent. Overall, its a good school that welcomes all students!

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2012

I pursued my M.Ed. at the Argosy University location in Tampa. The degree in Educational Leadership did not prepare me or qualify me to pursue leadership positions in the Florida K-12 system. The quality of the courses and classmates left a lot to desire. Although having a master's degree has advanced my career opportunities based on having the degree, I have felt unprepared and desire having learned more practical and research skills. The location of this campus is not very secure, but it is a beautiful building. It has a small library and computer lab. Financial aid and academic advising is on campus. Career services can be reached online. There is a lot of turnover of faculty and staff.
