Student & Graduate Reviews

Degree: Information Technology
Graduation Year: 2018

I am just beginning this program, but I am excited for the opportunities. So far it is challenging in a way that is exciting. I am hopeful about the outcome that this degree will have on my career, and hope to use it to move into a more technical role.

Degree: Public Policy
Graduation Year: 2018

Arizona State University (ASU) is a great college to gain unique opportunities within any given field not provided by many public universities! The amount of wonderful opportunities is outstanding! If you want to get ahead in the field of your choice, ASU is your school!

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2018

The School of Social Work has its strong points and areas that could use improvement. The school has great ties to the Tucson community and a wide variety of internship possibilities. This has been the best and most helpful part of my education. There are also night classes available for students who are working or have other responsibilities during the day. The classes and instructors have been hit or miss. Some classes have felt like a complete waste of time and money and the only reason students attend is in order to check the class off of the list of required classes.

Degree: Curriculum & Instruction
Graduation Year: 2019

The Masters of Education Curriculum and Instruction program with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at Arizona State University utilizes an online format to address the new technology trends used in society. It attracts a diverse student population because of its availability for both full time and part time work schedules, volunteers and single parents. It allows for higher education to be easily accessible while utilizing different online tools for different learners, such as discussion forums, video chat groups, online graphs and spreadsheets. It makes higher education more possible without missing the important components in physical classrooms.

Degree: Legal Studies

I loved ASU it made me feel like I was apart of something bigger at first it seemed like it was overwhelming but once you find your rhythm your golden. I just want to say to the staff at ASU thank you for all of your love and support I cant wait to see what the future brings.

Degree: Speech Pathology
Graduation Year: 2018

I believe Arizona State Universitys Speech Pathology graduate program encompasses the distinguished features that appeal to my professional goals. The coursework, clinical rotations, and student-faculty relationships all positively contribute to an excellent program and prepare students for a career in speech-language pathology. The pros of the program include diverse clinical opportunities on and off campus, connections to highly esteemed hospitals in the valley, and case-based curriculums in the classroom that involve critical thinking rather than memorizing facts. The cons of the program would be limited funding opportunities for graduate students at a school with pricey tuition. It is harder to find research/teaching assistantships here versus other programs I've researched. Overall, if you can get past the financials, the school is an outstanding and highly ranked program in the field of speech-pathology. I have no doubt that I will be able to find the best job with high earning potential upon graduation.

Degree: Accounting
Graduation Year: 2018

At Arizona State University, the professors and staff care about your future in the work force. Personally, I attended the WP Carey School of Business which is a top 30 business school in the nation. Within days I saw why. The curriculum, while rigorous, prepared me well for the workforce. We did not simply look at "text book" examples, but looked at the messy real world examples. I feel fully prepared for what my future holds.

Degree: Mechanical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2017

I felt my experience with ASU could best be described as balanced. I attended for both my bachelors and masters degrees and the 4+1 program that allowed for an accelerated opportunity to get the masters was a great opportunity as it was easy on the wallet, especially as a TA that pair for the year of school. The curriculum was challenging, but not overwhelming, the social life allowed for every individual to find like minded individuals, and the research and networking opportunities is perhaps the greatest benefit of attendance. If all of these components are taken advantage of, ASU becomes so much more than just the "party school" it has the reputation of being.
