Degree: Early Childhood Education
Graduation Year: 2016

Arkansas State University is a college with professors who actually care about the students. My advisor helped me plan every step of my journey. I have recently received a promotion due to my new Master's degree. The campus is secure and I feel safe, even when attending night classes.

Degree: Education
Graduation Year: 2015

I went through the online Master's Degree program. The Education Master's College had some kinks they were working out due to state mandate changes but my courses were easy enough to complete from home, in my own time. I knew what I needed to do before I ever started and when I contacted professors for help I nearly always got great answers.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2018

As a current federal employee, I decided to go back to school to obtain my master degree. ASU offered a complete online MPA which has allowed me to continue working and being a full time mom of 2. ASU has been nothing but helpful in every aspect in returning to school. I originally graduated from ASU in 2006 with a BS in Business Administration and I knew that I wanted to return to ASU for my graduate degree. With the MPA being fully online, it better fit in with my hectic schedule. The professors I've had so far have all been so helpful. They seem to understand that the online students are those with careers already who went back to school because they wanted to. They allow us to use real world examples in our assignments which aids in other students seeing the pov of other government employees. As a ASU graduate and future graduate soon, I would recommend ASU to anyone looking for a college home.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2017

As a single mom working full-time as a teacher, I need a program that is flexible, holds great potential for career growth, and is challenging enough to engage me. ASU works well in all of these capacities. I have felt academically fulfilled, which was a concern with online programs. ASUs courses were engaging and pushed me enough to keep me engaged without overwhelming me with requirements that prevent me from still being able to invest in my own child and my career as a teacher (lesson prep and grading). I have recommended ASU to my colleagues here in San Jose because, with the Academic Partnerships Program, you are getting the same quality of coursework as you would through our local school (SJSU) at a fraction of the cost.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2018

The online M.S.E. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University has significantly helped me as a current high school social studies teacher. The skills and knowledge that I have learned are used on a daily basis in my classroom and are helping make positive change in my student's lives. As a teacher, I know that my students are the future of this country. Therefore, the best way to make sure that they are successful is to constantly improve my expertise and pedagogy as a teacher.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2018

I just currently enrolled at ASU to earn my Masters in Public Administration. So far my experience has been wonderful. They have staff that will follow up with you during the application process. Their job is to be there to answer any questions and to make sure things are running smoothly so you get the application in on time. The financial aid office has been very helpful and reminding me what to complete so there are no issues paying for my classes. I've loved my experience so far and cannot wait to continue here.

Degree: Curriculum & Instruction
Graduation Year: 2017

It is an affordable program, but they should offer more scholarship or grant opportunities for graduate students. Also, I wish there was more than one professor teaching all the courses in a specific field of study. The school seems good on the surface, but there are some major communication problems. Overall, it is an excellent school.
