Student & Graduate Reviews

4.33 out of 5.0
Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2018

It's an easily accessible program, but sometimes the class sizes are too large. I'm only two subjects in and I feel the topics are very interesting, but because the classes are online, I don't feel like I know my professors or that they have much of an interest in my work. I'm hoping this will change as the coursework becomes more advanced. The students are all very nice and offer advice and feedback.

Degree: Counseling Psychology
Graduation Year: 2017

The pros of my graduate program are the one-on-one connection between student and faculty. The faculty and professors go abover and beyond to help their students in anyway. I do not have a con for my graduate program.

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2015

With the completion of the new hospital it is an exceptional opportunity with job openings in the area. This is also a rural area so the demand for Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy assistant is very high.

The major pros of graduate program are having deeper understanding of subject matter, self learning and developing career towards to the specific field of study. The cons of graduate program is lack in financial if the students have not enough source to support and time for studies

3.08 out of 5.0
Degree: Mechanical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2016

I would have appreciated if my course would have included more subjects related to Management of Information systems. Also Survey of Accounting is not that critical for our course.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

I absolutely love attending Astate Online. Academic partnership is the best thing I have discovered. The program is affordable and the 7 week classes are perfect in achieveing your degree in a timely fashion. The financial aid process was simple and I have not encountered in issues. The workload is very sufficient for assignments on a weekly basis on the graduate level. I the network is available everyday at any time as needed unless specified days prior. I am glad I found Astate online!

Pros: Professors are very helpful and want to see their students succeed in school and in life, school work is related to real life issues. Cons: Maybe more academic programs and activities on campus, and better job fairs.
