I am currently enrolled in the online MPA program at Arkansas State University. The online program allows me to continue my education at ASU while still being able to work my full-time job and will allow me to further my career. Yes, the 7-week classes are intense and fast-paced, but honestly, I prefer them that way. I do miss being on campus and being able to interact with other students and my professors.

The program itself was fine in what it was set up to accomplish. The other students who were let into the program was not what was expected. There were oftentimes when a fellow student would abandon the class and we would be required to keep that student involved in the group or have a group grade suffer due to freeloading student. We could have been challenged more within the program. Career opportunities were almost nonexistent until the last semester of the program.

Good program but the workload is excessive. Don't plan to work full time while pursing your grad degree.

You can take traditional classes or online classes, but there is no hybrid right now to allow both. Also, your financial aid will be drastically reduce if you choose the online option because you will not receive housing aid. Overall great program!

I like ASU graduate program because it is offered online and it is very affordable, compared to other programs around. A con of the program would be the loss of in person collaboration, but ASU utilizes discussion boards well, so this isn't as noticeable.

More financial aid is needed. The collective transportation must improves. There is little student diversity, but the social activities in the area are improving. Growth of the research activity is needed as well as financial support for graduate student.

The graduate program at A-State is phenomenal. The professors really care about the students and their goals. They provide you with the tools that you need to succeed. I could not have asked for anything more!

I love the accelerated program that I am in. The online classes are only 7 weeks long with a one week break before beginning another class. The instructors are reachable. The program is highly accredited and the pricing cannot be beat. The coursework is pretty intensive. Be ready to work!

My educational graduate program is very intense but allows me to use what I have learned within the classroom.

Decent program. I wish that faculty would submit grades more often than they do throughout the course.
