"This school has a major leadership issue!! During my time there they changed their name (for no reason) and passed the cost onto the students in the form of tuition. They then funneled money to the lack luster sports departments that were then dissolved when Georgia Southern bought them out. It blows my mind how a "School" has more administrators and coaches than educators. Beyond that the courses offered are a lie. Most of the classes in their catalog are all the same course with different names or not "offered at this time" especially in the Computer Science department. To put the cherry on the cake the department heads are essentially a game of musical chairs so no one takes responsibility for any of the poor decisions being pushed down from the President of the school who could care less. Only go here if you absolutely have to and even then get through it as quickly as possible because all you are is a cash cow for milking to this school and its administration. Note: some of the teachers care and want you to do the best you can but they are limited by the school and the resources provided to them."

"Armstrong State University had many positive aspects that influenced my education. I absolutely loved the small class size. The ratio of student to professor was perfect. It made it easy to get to know the professors and vice versa. The campus is very easy to navigate as well. I felt prepared when I walked across that stage to go out into the world and achieve greatness."

"Armstrong State University taught me it was possible to feel like I could handle the opportunity of being in a university setting, but still receive the support from facility members that would ultimately help me succeed. The Psychology department felt like an oasis to me when I had questions about course work, difficulties understanding concepts, or merely just wanting to talk about how I wanted to shape my future career. They allowed me to be as involved as I wanted to be ( as long as I put in the work). The expectations of the student are clearly defined at the beginning of the semester and every professor allowed for office hours for any necessary clarification needed about class material. They treat students with respect much like an employee and they expect the same in return. I would recommend this college to anyone that is ready to do the work. You will come out with gratitude for the professors, peers, and various facility members you met along the way."

"I currently attend this college and am not pleased. It is one of very few in my area so I was limited on choices. The staff isn't really helpful at all and some of their professors are terrible and don't even attempt to help you succeed. The online teachers aren't bad, but don't expect any advisor to help you get into online programs. Remember college is a business and all they want here is money."

"Small friendly campus. You really get to know the people in your classes once you choose a major. I had a great experience there. The teachers in my program were experienced and knowledgeable in their areas. They are also understanding and helpful with work they assign. I also enjoyed my internships they prepared me somewhat for what to expect in the teaching world and gave a great opportunity to network with schools for future job openings."

"Great school on a beautiful campus. Small class sizes gave me more interaction with faculty and peers. Excellent school for veterans. They have a lot of good programs for military students. Resource Center has everything you need. Computers, printers, books, fridge, microwave, tv. They do a lot of events on campus for military students, too. Make sure you join their SVA. I had a good time with my fellow vets."

"While I am somewhat biased as an graduate of the university, I feel this college is one of the best kept secrets in Georgia. Small enough to offer great a community feel, but large enough to offer amenities, Armstrong caters to a wide variety of students. The academics are surprisingly rigorous, the staff incredibly supportive, and who wouldn't want to live 30 minutes from the ocean. If I had children, I would be pleased to send them to Armstrong."

"I had a very good experience with Armstrong State. I got one-on-one attention when I needed it and the professors showed compassion and professionalism. I felt safe there and was able to participate in campus activities when I wanted to, but not pressured if I preferred not to. I would recommend Armstrong to anyone looking for a good college with small class sizes and individual attention."

"I couldn't be more proud to be a student at Armstrong State University in the Master of Health Service Administration program. The program has opened many doors for me and created leadership opportunities that have shaped me into the person I am today. The faculty will bend over backwards to help you and are always available. I will forever be grateful to my teachers, classmates, and family for supporting and encouraging me while in the program."

"With the master in Professional Communication I will be able to improve my communication skills in my work place, as well as a in my study field which is Biological Sciences. I will certainly enhance writing skills. I have not yet started the program since I start it in the spring 2015, so I would not be able to tell what the cons would be. so far I am very excited about getting started and I think that the program will contribute to my carrier as scientist, a speaker, and a communicator."

"As a non-traditional student, the overall experience was very easy to adjust to after being absent from school life for many years.. The professors are very knowledgeable and accessible for assistance in any capacity. The degree programs are respected and sought after in their appropriate industries. The Financial Aid Office goes above and beyond to help you get the funding required according to your needs and goals.. The campus is very well monitored with a security force that is competent, friendly and ready to help in any way that they can. AASU has a very relaxing environment with plenty of outdoor gardens, fountains, and sitting areas for studying, meeting with friends, or just waiting between classes. The university has a great diverse group of students from different cultures and generations which provides an extraordinary learning backdrop that contributes to an outstanding overall educational and rewarding event."

"I think the actual educational program itself is definitely a pro. The drawbacks are mostly associated with the administrative processes at the university"
