Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2013

Every person should have the ability and choice to attend college regardless of the ability to pay for it. I'm glad I went but I hate that I will be paying student loans for years to come.

The course work was rigorous; more so than a traditional university. The professors were really knowledgeable and provided timely feedback and support.

Degree: MBA in Human Resources
Graduation Year: 2015

Ashford University gave me opportunity to advance in my career. The MBA program was both challenging and rewarding. The faculty was always available for any questions and concerns. The teaching methods online best suited my needs and while challenging, convenient to complete assigned work from the comfort of my home. The advisors were amazing and always were available to make sure students were on track to graduate. I would recommend students attend Ashford University.

Degree: Healthcare Administration
Graduation Year: 2011

I enjoyed the overall online learning experience that I received at Ashford University. The instructors and staff were accessible, helpful, and the classroom forum was great. This experience (I attended for bachelor's also) groomed me in areas of self-study and discipline. I grew in my critical and analytical thinking skills, as I did not have the physical classroom to rely on for group study, etc.

At first I did not know what to expect with taking course online. However, taking classes online with Ashford gave me the ability to work and care for my child in the convenience of my home. The curriculum was easy to understand and the school website was more than easy to use. Staff members at Ashford were very helpful and the professor always responded in a timely manner.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2014

As of now, I am a graduate student pursuing my degree in Psychology (Career Management and Counseling). I have a B.A degree in Social Science and Psychology. I enjoyed learning from these two degrees from a previous institution. It gave me the insight to want to learn and explore more in the field of Psychology.

Degree: Non-Profit Management
Graduation Year: 2014

Initially, after retiring from the military I found myself working an entry level government contracting job that I knew was well below the level of my experience, education, and abilities. Unemployment was high and the job market was extremely competitive. My new supervisor told me after my being hired that although I had the military experience similar to many of the job applicants, the one thing that put me above them was that I had a bachelors degree. He said many of the job applicants just had high school diplomas, others only a few colleges credits, and one applicant had an associates degree. In this market he said they could afford to be very picky on those selected for the open positions and that he could get educated and talented people without having to pay top salaries. For me this was a wake-up call. I realized that if I was going to be able to advance in the job market that I would need to pursue my education even further and obtain a post graduate degree. I applied to Ashford University and was accepted into their Master of Arts in Organizational Management Program. Since I was a working adult I truly appreciated Ashford Universities flexible schedule and my ability to complete my degree by taking online classes. It was a very challenging and rewarding experience. After graduating with a graduate degree I was able to obtain a much better job and my pay has steadily increased each year since.
