Attending the master's program has prepared me well enough to enter graduate school. The program is rigorous and challenging but it will strengthen your application and your study habits. You will learn how to be discipline and manage your time properly. The program increased my chances getting into Dental school. The professors and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I am truly grateful to have found this program and now I am ready to start Dental School!"

"I can't stress how much Barry's Biomedical Sciences Master's has helped me and made me a stronger and a better individual. The professors are all very educated and care so much about their students. The admin staff is such a joy to be around and sincerely care about your future. The director of the program and the rest of the staff know what they are doing and if you are a student who is dedicated, trust me you will get out a lot from this program. I 100recommend it to everyone trying to achieve their goals. You will grow here, you will learn tremendously, you will make friends for a lifetime, and you will have many opportunities to make great connections with professional schools. "If you are looking to get into professional schools such as medical school, dental school or PA school, Barry University is your road to success. When I started Barry University I had come in with an incredibly low undergraduate GPA. BU helped prepare me for dental school, and helped me get a stronger platform in which to base my future goals upon. I was able to take a science heavy course load that showed schools I was able capable of succeeding in dental school. Before Barry University I didn't think I would get into any schools, but this cycle I was able to get into 3 amazing dental schools, including my top choice. They prepared me for my interview, my dat, and my first year of dental school. I feel like I am ready to become a dentist after doing this program. The staff is wonderful. They are by far the greatest asset this program has. P., and Dr. C. help with advice and call schools on behalf of you and Dr. C. is the most amazing professor a student can ask for."

"The program is oversold. If you work hard you can help improve your chances of getting into dental school, however if you wish to attend medical school steer clear. There are only two faculty working in the office for over 300 students meaning advising is very hard to come by. The campus is an old firehouse with only three classrooms and no onsite study space."

The best part of the program is the staff and professors who are dedicated in bringing out the best in their students through education, community service, and extra curriculars. It is made very clear on how hard you have to study and all that is required to become a competitive applicant. "The Barry BMS program was one of the best decisions I have made in order to prepare myself to reapply to medical school. I realized how much I was able to grow here between managing my time wisely, working and studying at a graduate level. The small class sizes allowed everyone in the building to be a helping hand when you need it. With volunteer opportunities, clubs, and professional school visits, Barry makes sure that they are giving you everything you need in order to succeed in your professional endeavors. They consistently remind you to keep striving for the best and make sure you never give up on your dreams!"

"Barry University allowed me to become a competitive applicant to medical school. The workload is tough, but very doable and gives you confidence that if you do well in the program, you can do well in professional school. It is also easy to form relationships with your professors which is critical in not only having a support system in the school, but for your letters of recommendation. Although I wish the campus was larger and had a library (because we are in Hollywood and not Miami Shores), other study areas are not far from the campus. Overall I would highly recommend Barry because of the success rate at which the program gets its students into professional school."

"Barry University Masters in biomedical science is an excellent choice for those preparing to go into medical professional schools. The biomedical masters program is located in hollywood. It is a small campus with caring professors and administrators. The Univeristy seeks to educate its students and emphasizes academics and extracurricular activities. The Masters program is rigorous, and teaches students lessons in time management and apropriate studying techniques. I have gained a variety useful skills that I will take with me into the physician assistant Masters program."

"The BMS program at Barry University is great and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to attend medical/dental school. The program is difficult and requires a lot of study time out of the classroom, it has prepared me extremely well for dental school. The administrative staff is wonderful and super helpful. They really want the best for their students!"

"Attending Barry Uni's Biomed Sci program before reapplying to dental school was the best decision I have ever made. It was the most necessary stepping stone for any student hoping to get into graduate school. During this program I "learned how to learn" on a graduate level, learned how to manage my time wisely, and most importantly learned how to be a team player. The program is small and because of this, staff members and faculty have the time and patience to help guide you through your hardest courses and also with anything you may need during your pre-med or pre-dental career."

"I had a wonderful experience attending Barry University. Barry did require a couple of adjustments at first , since I and many other of my classmates went from a huge undergraduate universities to a small program, but the personal attention you are able to receive with small classes sizes outweighs everything. While attending this program, I learned many key lessons that led to my success and learned to use all the available resources at Barry such as the health care oriented professors and other extremely helpful staff members, TAs , and group studying habits. The flexible semester schedule options after the first semester and the frequent medical/dental school visits are great additions. I can confidently say that Barry will be large component of my future educational and career goals since this degree has changed the type of person and student I am today!"

Class sizes are very small, which leads to individualized instruction and a great deal of rapport being built between faculty and students.
