Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2016

This program may be the newest masters program in the small world of 12 other graduate programs for Orthotics and Prosthetics, but redesigned curriculum and novel approach to residency placements exemplifies the spirit of innovation and collaboration that drew me to the program. The faculty genuinely loves sharing their knowledge with us and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to be my friends and colleagues.

Baylor College of Medicine offers students exceptional instruction in the clinical sciences, while also supporting them as they gain hands on experience in history taking and the physical examination in community clinics. There are endless opportunities to get involved in volunteer activities in the community and leadership opportunities within the academic community. The school really emphasizes maintaining a life-study balance, which is extremely helpful given how much material there is to learn in medical school. The one aspect where the program could improve is on expanding the diversity of the medical school class.

BCM graduate program in Developmental Biology is a very challenging program that pushes students to succeed. Although it is very competitive, no student is left behind and mentors ensure each student's success

A fantastic education combined with supportive and world-class faculty members. The work is challenging, but well worth it.

Excellent education, cool people, strong clinical affiliates. Cheap tuition that is underwritten by the state. Negatives:weak financial aid packages, technology/IT struggles, can be difficult to commute and park.

Everything is great, but I feel that the program could be a little more organized. No one seems to really know what is going on- mainly the classes were very unorganized and taught in an unordered way. This is being worked on currently, though.

Good education - work load is a lot, but that is to be expected. Financial aid is poor, but thankfully tuition is pretty low.
