Graduation Year: 2015

Pros: Definitely the accessibility of the graduate faculty and collaborating on research projects is great. The department is small enough that everyone knows one another and feels like a close knit family. The courses on offer are great if you are doing a Thesis/School Psych/ABA and the faculty who teaches all the courses are highly knowledgable in their fields. Cons: Waco is quite small, there is not a lot of entertainment on offer. There are only a few bars downtown, and a lack of transportation other than driving. A lot of Mexican food and many fast food restaurants near campus. Not much diversity food wise. Also there is not a lot on offer socialization wise for grad students, it is heavily focused on under grads.

I am just beginning my program but so far the experience has been great. The faculty has been very informative and supportive. My undergraduate experience at Baylor was fantastic although I know my graduate experience while also working full time will be harder I am still very excited.

There was not a lot of statistics classes for the program, but otherwise the classes were great. The professors are very supportive and helpful.
