Benedictine University has provided me with everything I was looking for in a Graduate Program. Being able to complete my MPH degree in an online forum has proved a successful venture through this school and the program structure provided. I have seen such huge successes through the MPH program that I have gone on to apply for the MBA and hope to graduate with a dual degree. Definitely a school I would recommend to anyone looking!

The pros are the flexibility of an online program. The cons are the initial admissions process is difficult.

Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2018

Benedictine University offers rich and engaging graduate programs as well as a supportive admissions department. I have wanted to earn a Master of Public Health degree for some time, yet I lacked the years of clinical health experience that so many graduate schools require for acceptance. Nevertheless, Benedictine's online public health program is designed for students new to the health field like myself. Overall, Benedictine has a very personal touch. If you need something or have a question, you can pick up the phone and speak to someone directly as oppose to going through a list of prompts only to be sent to a voicemail! Lastly, Benedictine is CEPH certified, which I believe speaks volumes to the quality of their academic competitiveness.

Degree: Elementary Education
Graduation Year: 2016

Benedictine's Masters of Arts in Education is an incredibly personal and individualized program. The education department is amazingly supportive and truly there for your education. Coursework and expectations are intense, but manageable with support from the School of Education. Professors and faculty are fantastic resources and have your best interest at heart. As a graduate student, student life is not a big deal for me. However, there are many opportunities for it. Because Benedictine is located in a Chicagoland suburb, the surrounding area is mostly families. Transportation is a personal responsibility with no public bussing or trains in the area. Overall, I highly recommend Benedictine University for their Masters of Arts in Education program. I cannot stress the amount of support and individualization the School of Education provides its Graduate students.

The online experience at Benedictine University was excellent. It allowed you to pursue your graduate degree and still manage your life, all the while getting a quality education. I'm very appreciative of the support and knowledge gained in the program from the instructors and campus staff, and hope to put it to good use. It's a great program.

The biggest pro was the fact I could do everything online. The instructors were readily available and I was often surprised at how quickly they responded to my requests and questions. The biggest con was that the courses were so fast (only 8 wks).

Benedictine offers a high-quality graduate program with excellent support and lots of options. From the beginning, the counselors have been in contact with me making sure I am progressing smoothly. The faculty is topnotch and the program flexible enough to fit my needs.
