Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2014

The pros were that the teachers are very helpful, the workload is manageable and the students are very diverse. The only con is the lack of scholarships available to graduate students to help with tuition costs.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2014

The academics of the BU MBA program and the instructors are great and course work is manageable. However I find it difficult sometimes to find out who does what in administration and it feels as if they don't communicate with each other like they should. Maybe it's just extremely hard for my grad school to fill the shoes of my undergrad school.

Degree: Organizational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2015

One of the best Graduate Programs in Organizational Development that you can take due to the knowledge base of the professors teaching the classes as well as those that have written books that have been hailed as top notch in the OD world.

The online experience of the MBA program is quite beneficial. As with any program of study, the personal rewards and benefits arise from the individual's level of commitment and involvement. Benedictine requires that students become fully engaged. Consequently, the benefits increase. The online learning environment allows more thoughtful consideration and discussion of case studies among students. Unlike the classroom, you have an opportunity to review comments without a fast-paced discussion. Fellow students reply to each others comments. The instructors and staff are excellent and supportive. The downside to the online program is the live interaction. Yet, the classroom design does not compromise an interactive learning experience.

I love this program! It takes into account the fact that many grad students have full time jobs and the online delivery method is perfect to fit all types of shedules. There is appropriate engagement of the students in the subject matter and I feel as though I am getting a first-rate education in Leadership Studies. I love BenU!

Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2015

There are quite a few advantages when it comes to online graduate programs. Accessibility: Attend online classes from anywhere. Flexiblity: Work when it make sense for you - at night, morning. You are not tied to a class schedule Interpersonal Breadth: Your peers will include students all over the country and even the world. Cost: An online education does not require that you relocate to a new place Documentation: Documents, transcripts, live discussions and training materials are all archived and recorded so that they can be retrieved via mail, e-mail or the school's website for reading, downloading, and printing. Access: Instructors are also available, respond quickly through email, and generally are prepared to work with diverse students with a range of lifestyles and needs.

Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2015

Benedictine University has a wonderful admissions process. The admissions representatives are very attentive and walk prospective students through each step of the process. The financial aid department representatives are not very helpful with the process of applying for financial aid. I am about to finish my first online course. I am impressed with the involvement and attentiveness of the professor. He is very available to students and actively involved in online discussions. The course registration process and the web systems in general could use some work to make them more user friendly. Overall, I am impressed so far with the academics of the online Masters in Public Health program through Benedictine University.
