Student & Graduate Reviews

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 1995

Bethune Cookman University is an excellent School for higher education. It offers numerous areas of study. I received my BSN and was well prepared for my nursing boards upon graduation. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a college experience that has cultural diversity, a progressive curriculum and family environment.

Bethune-Cookman University though small does well with what they have. I am in the program for the Master of science in Transformative leadership. For the Graduate Studied program the pros are, the graduate school program is fairly small so there is always that option to have the one on one relationship with your professors. The small size of the school allows for more personal attention when it come to the work. The tuition for school In my opinion is more reasonable than many others I looked at. The professors at the school take a special interest in the students to make sure you succeed, always offering help above and beyond. The cons are that the Graduate school does not offer assistant ships or fellowships so you would have to rely on other means to pay for school (scholarships, out of pocket etc). In the graduate school my program is completely online as for most of the others, which I am learning to cope with but I don't completely enjoy it, I prefer In class lessons. The online aspect allows for having virtual classes on a set schedule which is convenient, but it also allows for a lot of technical difficulties. The last con is that there are only a very small amount of graduate programs to choose from. I would still recommend though that people who are looking for a good school with hard working people take a look at this University.

Degree: Counseling Psychology
Graduation Year: 2015

I am currently in the Counseling Psychology Master, and I love it. This new program that Bethune Cookman University is offering is amazing. Coming from a business background to a psychology master was kind of hard and challenging, but athletes love that, we love challenge. My first semester I got two “As” and my second semester I got one “A” and one “B”. I am looking forwards to continue this master.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2013

The Graduate Program at Bethune Cookman University is amazing. It gives you the oppurtunity to meet and learn new things. With this program, they teach you apply what you are being taught in your everyday life with first looking at your self. The professors make you see that you can not change whats gooing on around you with out first seeing what was going on with you. The professors are easy to get along with willing to help every step of the way. They push you to reach new heights.
