"Overall, a good, very typical college experience for the era. I was able to do a lot of experiential learning via work on a magazine (remember those), radio station and through a summer internship program which netted me my first job out of college as a TV news producer."

"Loved the small town location of the University, met great people, and there is always plenty of stuff going on. Don't go to Bloom if you want to get an Accounting degree. The majority of the professors in the department are horrible, could care less about the students, and find it funny to fail people instead of helping them (I didn't fail, I just saw it happen a lot). I had to basically teach myself everything. If you are interested in Audiology, Nursing, or Teaching Bloomsburg has a very good reputation for those degrees."

"I am currently enrolled in Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania's Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist program and begin in the Fall of 2017. I am very excited and eager to begin this chapter in my life. So far all of my interactions with everyone in the program from the secretary to the Director of the program, they have been nothing but helpful and eager to help you succeed. The interview process was vigorous but well worth it when I received my acceptance letter. I am excited and proud to be a Bloomsburg Huskie during my Master's Degree! If you are contemplating applying, just do it! you will not regret it!"

"The CRNA program at Bloomsburg University is a fantastic graduate program for nurses looking to further their education in anesthesia. The instructors are fantastic and really want you to succeed. The program secretary is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure that you have what it is that you are looking for and need! It is a small class and the program is three years which really helps prepare you to be an independent practitioner. I am excited to continue my journey in nursing with this program! It was a lot of hard work to get to the position that I am in now, but never give up on your dreams!"

"You start your clinical training the first day of the program. This experience is simply unmatched. I love being able to assist patients and use the knowledge learned from the academic coursework. The professors are wonderful as they understand what it is like to be in our shoes. They go out of their way to make sure you understand the material."

"If you want to get away from city life and live in a small community, Bloomsburg is a great place to attend college. Bloomsburg offers a wide variety of clubs and activities so everyone can find their home away from home. There are also numerous free events going on campus such as midnight pizza, movies nights so you will never be bored. You do not need a car because Bloomsburg offers a free shuttle bus to the nearest Walmart on specific days. My professors were always willing to help me and advise me as needed. Bloomsburg became my home away from home and if I have never regretted my decision to attend this school."

"Bloomsburg University - I thoroughly enjoyed all the classes that were available to me and felt ready to begin my teaching career upon graduation. Hofstra University - The Literacy studies program is one of the best in the nation. They are always providing best practices experiences for their students and always ahead of the curve with new pedagogues."

"Good school. Very difficult program, focusing on getting you into the Big 4. They drive me nuts asking for money (donations) every year since I've left."

"My graduate school has a reputation for graduating competent speech-language pathology students. We receive extensive experience in the school setting. We have two swallowing courses and an instrumentation course - which prepares us well for a medical setting academically. However, some of our resources are dated (e.g., AAC technology and testing materials). In addition, inconsistencies in ideologies between individuals at our various placements (i.e., schools, in house clinic, classes) can make the learning process arduous and frustrating. I personally have received excellent support financially and academically from specific professors and appreciate these opportunities. Overall, I feel that the positives far outweigh any minor negatives. I am satisfied with my experience and grateful for the opportunity to have been accepted into this program."

"The pros are a small graduate class that provides a unique experience and a great, personal student to teacher ratio. The classes allow for students to be interactive and work closely with one another. The cons include a lot of time and dedication to the classwork, as well as a lot of outside time needed to dedicate to preparation and planning."

"It is a really good program. I feel like I am learning a lot and receiving good experience. A con is that there is a large work load, going from clinic all day to class all night 4 das a week."
