Was not informed upon entering Certificate program that financial aid would not be available.

This graduate program (chemistry) is terrible! Faculty are lazy and irresponsible. The quality of classes are low. Faculty and staff do everything slower than necessary. Also the atmosphere in this program is creepy. Faculty are not friendly at all, and students stab each other in the back. Now this program is getting smaller and smaller, because we don't enjoy it and nearly half of us students have transferred to better universities(this is a fact that faculty dare not tell you). Don't apply for this program, since it's a waste of your time!

Degree: Art & Design
Graduation Year: 2014

The art history graduate program is very small, thus limited class offerings but extra individual attention.

Pros: Full-funding, experientially driven, & high levels of support Cons: May lack full-funding in the future & highly homogenous human aggregate in the program, institution, and surrounding area

I am currently attending Bowling Green State University as a graduate student; I am working on earning my teaching license and my masters degree. The people within my program have been very helpful and willing to work with me through my academic concerns and my graduate assistantship. I am constantly being offered assistance, and the faculty and staff of my program foster an environment in which students are entirely comfortable asking questions and asking for help when needed. I know that my program is going to continue to challenge me with its coursework and that the professors I have will push me to exceed my own expectations. I know that all of this is going to ultimately make me a better version of myself and a better educator.

I really enjoy the faculty and coursework in my program. The Bowling Green area, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The financial compensation in this program is great with full tuition benefits and a stipend.

The cohorts are small which makes it nice because you become close to your classmates and it helps to create a support system.

The faculty in this program are exceptionally supportive and do an excellent job preparing students for faculty positions in the field upon graduation.
