It's a good program which is taught between a mix of academics and current professionals who have experience in the fields they teach. The classes vary in format based on the instructor so you can't expect the same thing from class to class which can make it hard to plan for what to expect but it also keeps it new and from being a routine. The campus is nice but the parking is bad.

CSUN provides a great MPA program for full time working professionals as myself. The professors are very knowledge and work to tie the material with real life experiences. I trully recommend this program!

Although my classes are online, I love that they are not "easy" and I really feel like I'm learning something. The teachers are great and are professionals in the filed we are studying and everything we are learning can be applied in the real world.

The biggest pro of my program is the convenience of being able to complete my degree online. In today's era it's not practical to quit working to pursue your educational goals. I love the idea of being home for my family while I complete my degree. The con is not being to personally take care of issues right away. Being online, as well as being in a different city, makes finding solutions to concerns a longer task. However, overall I'm very satisfied with my choice to attend CSUN.

The MPA Program is very arduous. It is refreshing to know the faculty care about us enough to challenge us and really give us an education that we deserve.

I am currently enrolled as a student in the MPA Cohort program and I love the experience and knowledge I'm getting from this program. I had to stay close to my home for school and this was perfect! The tuition price is set so it won't go up or down once you start the program. This is great because when will it ever go down. With this program, you take one class at a time and the class is only for 2 months. So everything is fast paced, but you are able to concentrate and really understand that topic. This was a great fit for what I needed! Affordable and competitive.

CSUN offers a great, online MPA program for current working professionals. The classes are online so they meet the needs of those currently working full-time. The classes are engaging and require work which makes the program worthwhile. IT is also one of the most affordable MPA programs.
