Degree: MBA in Healthcare Management
Graduation Year: 2020

Getting back to school can be an extremely nerve racking decision but through personal research and a friend's referral I chose to do so at CALU. From the second I started my application process emails were sent to me to aid in the process. CALU did an amazing job at eliminating the excuse of applying being too difficult. They made the application process easy and had me exciting to get started. Someone was there to help every step of the way and has continued to be. I am so glad I chose CALU and if you have and reservations about getting back to school, contact CALU! There is no doubt in my mind that their eagerness to help will shine through to each and every person.

I wouldn't recommend going to this university in the current climate. Treats students and alumni poorly.

The California University of Pennsylvania gave me an accredited and excellent education in my field of study. Their Global Online Academy is organized for the working student. I was as able to receive my Master's degree in one year and not have to take time off from work. Currently working in my field of study, I was able to bring academic knowledge to the practical application at the same time. Definitely a win-win!

Degree: Cultural Studies
Graduation Year: 2017

I chose my course of study in Arabic Languages and Cultures at California University of Pennsylvania because I was in need of a program that was offered 100% online to fit the needs of my busy life. Due to the fact that I am obligated to work full-time, an online program was a must, and CalU made it doable and, in the end, successful. The Arabic program I studied included various uses of the Arabic Colloquial dialects (we focused on MSA [Modern Standard Arabic], as well as the Egyptian and Shaami dialects [Syrian, Palestinian, Lebanese]). My professor was understanding of the reality that most of his students were working students and therefore he was extremely lenient and forgiving regarding deadlines for homework, quizzes, and term papers. Since his focus was based on the study of using modern technology to aid in the study of foreign languages, my professor offered a healthy amount of resources and techniques that we, as students, were able to use via smartphone, computer, tablet, etc. It is because of this excellent service of education that I had decided to continue my education at California University of Pennsylvania in order to achieve my Master's in Arabic Language and Linguistics with hopes to graduate in the Summer of 2018.

Degree: Homeland Security
Graduation Year: 2018

The classes are completed online. There are no classes to attend. The classes are 8 weeks in length. Each week is a unit. Where you are expected to do readings, assignments and class discussions in a forum. Some classes, like summer classes, are 7 weeks in length. You have a lot of writing. there are 4 core law classes. Most of the stuff I learned in college prep classes in High School. Then 5 classes in your concentration. I have anti-terrorism for my classes. You can pursue criminal justice also. You also have to take 3 elective courses. What I like about CALU is that they give a discounted tuition to Veterans and It is done all online.

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2017

The PTA program was rigorous as far as curriculum involved and hours needed to study, along with the competitive nature of the limited seating available in the program. The MBA degree was highly recommended and seems to have a strong following behind it.
