Degree: Information Technology
Graduation Year: 2018

I found Capella University to be an excellent choice for a PhD in Information Technology. As a full-time employee, student, and single-parent, online education was the best choice for pursuing a terminal technology degree. The residential requirements were intensive educational experiences that prepared me for the comprehensive exams and dissertation phase of the program. The faculty were responsive and knowledgeable in their respective disciplines. I would recommended Capella University to future students.

Degree: Special Education
Graduation Year: 2012

Capella made being a single working mother and going back to college for my master's degree very easy. The course rooms were simple and navigable, the campus library was easy to use as well as finding and using resources available to students who needed help with a course. Tutors were available at all times and professors were quick to respond to any questions I had about my lessons. I love Capella so much I am now attending a Doctoral program through them

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2015

Capella University was an excellent choice for me. Being a stay at home Mom and caring for a special needs child made it hard to attend a traditional school with Capella I was able to accomplish my educational goals. The courses were great and communication with my instructors were always open.

Degree: School Counseling
Graduation Year: 2020

This university is great. They do offer as many resources as possible to help the student through the learning process. The online course is manageable and easy to use. I was skeptical about doing online courses as I felt it was not as effective as traditional classrooms. Once I started the courses I realize it was the best decision I could've made.

If you are career focused but want to continue your education...Capella is the place to attend. The staff is super helpful and you can go at your own pace. I started a couple of years ago after being out of school for over 10 years, so I was nervous that I would not do well. Because of the personal track structure, I was able to accomplish something I had never done before...make the Dean's List. I would advise anyone to give Capella a try.

Degree: Higher Education
Graduation Year: 2017

Capella University offered me the opportunity to learn about administration and leadership, which I have applied to my current position. My degree has also provided me with a raise in pay and a higher level of recognition from my peers and my employer.
