The flexibility of Capella University is what makes it so appealing to me. This is the second graduate degree that I am working on earning at Capella University. The faculty are very accessible. Even though I am attending online, I have never had to wait an excessive amount of time to get feedback regarding my work. The workload is very manageable. I am able to work my full-time job, and still have time to complete all assignments without feeling stressed to meet a deadline. The only con with Capella University is the complicated financial aid process. Sometimes, the aid is not awarded on time; therefore prompting many calls to the Financial Aid office. Overall, I am enjoying my experience at Capella University and would recommend this university to anyone considering post-secondary education online.

The graduate program offers excellent online resources, technical support and access to faculty. The only con to the program is the absence of the on-ground atmosphere. This may be seen as a benefit as well. You gain a deeper understanding of the course material; fosters independence.

Good MSN Nursing Education program, however, is very expensive.

Capella University offers both undergrad and graduate level studies. As an online graduate level learning I am supported by my professors and classmates. I did not give stars in the areas that do not apply to me. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants a quality education.

One of the pros from my graduate program, is that is very flexible in terms of being a mother of two children under the age of five, whose husband works long hours, and not able to help assist as much. I am able to do my work in the evenings while my kids are sleeping, and my professors are very understanding, and accessible throughout the week and weekends. One of the negatives I would have to say, is the tuition. Capella is expensive (as all universities are), and am at a place in which I have had to take out a large amount of student loans.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2018

I'm pursuing a Masters degree in Industrial and Organizational psychology. My goal is to improve hospital environments by focusing on occupational stress. I have experienced the stress that goes along with working in a hospital, and this degree will help me improve the everyday environment of hospitals by research or distributing tests that gives me feedback on the true problems of the environment. Furthermore, the degree is highly versatile with potential careers in education, research, government/military, and organizations such as consulting firms. However, location is a detrimental factor in obtaining those types of jobs, and relocating may be necessary. This scholarship would help me immensely in paying back school loans.
