Capella university is a great school. When I just started i wasn't sure that I made the right choice. After attending the first I changed my mind based on the care, encouragement and the support the staff gave me. My advisor was extremely helpfull, registration for me was a piece of cake. Every representatives had the willingness to make me understand the process. They went out of their ways to make I had my financial aid and I was prepare for the class. I felt extremely welcomed. Until now I'm still surprised. That is the fist time I attended an online school and I didn't regret.

Graduation Year: 2016

The overall grade rating is misleading. Since I am an online student, I could not answer all of the questions. Because the overall grade was calculated with all of the questions and I could not answer it myself, it is lower than I would have put. If you are going to do that, you need a N/A column to take those questions out of the calculation.

I am an online student and therefore many of the questions do not apply to me.

Online education - so no transportation/campus response. Great school!

Degree: Marriage & Family Therapy
Graduation Year: 2017

The pros are the flexibility of being able to work full-time while take classes that aid in my professional career. While some information can be confusing regarding state qualifications for licensure, the academic and faculty advisors are helpful and resourceful.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2017

The best part of my graduate program is that I can take classes online allowing me to continue with my busy life. The cons I guess is that online classes are missing the classroom environment. Overall though I am very happy with my experience at Capella, they do everything they can to bridge that gap.

Completing coursework online can sometimes hinder the interaction of other students. However, Capella has incorporated nationwide meetings for students to participate in during the completion of the program.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2017

Capella's program in clinical psychology is an intense one, meant to qualify students for licensure and practice in several different jurisdictions. Staff is highly qualified and generally committed to student success. The major drawback to this institution's offering is the relatively high cost of attendance and lingering prejudice against distance (online) and some blended programs, even excellent programs like Capella's.

it is an online program that allows me to work during the day and school when I have the time. I also was thrilled to learn they do not charge out of state fees!
