Degree: Computer Science
Graduation Year: 2017

The online degree program at Capella University is very challenging and comprehensive. Although the course load sometimes feels slightly overwhelming, I'm confident that I will be adequately preared for a career in Information Technology. This program is a career change for me and honestly because of the support and excellent instruction that I have and will receive from the instructors at Capella, I'm excited to apply my knowledge to the duties of a new job in IT!

Degree: School Counseling
Graduation Year: 2016

The flexibility of the online format is key for me being able to earn my master's degree. I have been very impressed with the rigor of the coursework. Instructors tend to be very supportive and encouraging; they seem genuinely interested in each learner's success. My overall grade given here is a bit skewed because several of the categories are not relevant (i.e. Affordability of Living). It should actually be a 9 out of 10. The only aspect of Capella that I would change is to have them provide more scholarship opportunities.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

I picked Capella because of the Public Administration program which I saw was not as good in other colleges. Overall, the work is decent and the professors are respectful and fair. This is something that students look for when attending a college. The cons are some of the course work is redundant, but the school does receive comments and try to change to satisfy the student.

The con is that the process is not communicated with the learner

Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2017

I am extremely impressed with the online doctoral program in Public Health that I am enrolled in at Capella University. Despite the non-traditional, online format of the program, the institution has done a fantastic job in replicating the experience typical of a brick-and-mortar institution. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and approachable and the academic coaches (analogous to an academic advisor) are more than willing in guiding students on the appropriate academic path.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2017

Capella is a great option for your graduate education. This option was best for me because I worked full-time and have a child. I was always able to reach my instructors and get good feedback. There are not any group assignments which was a preference of mine. There is a lot of homework but I feel the quality of information and learning is significant.

Degree: Healthcare Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

One of the pros of my program has been my interaction with my recent professor. My professor was very patient and humble which made me comfortable taking this online class because I was able to reach my professor and she gave quick responses. I also like that there are teacher assistants who take the time to reach out to the current students within a certain degree program and offer advice and assistance. The one con of this school is that there is no ground campus where I live which would have made it more convenient for me to have access to a computer if I experienced any technical issues with my personal computer at home since I am an online student.

Degree: Higher Education
Graduation Year: 2017

The school does challenge you, if you are looking to do this for yourself, you are motivated to learn and at the end of the day the three letters behind your name are your ultimate goal then this is a great place.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2017

Capella University offers a regionally accredited and recognized Doctor of Business Administration program. The faculty and staff are dedicated professionals capable of extending world class business insight and experience for aspiring business professionals like me which are definite pros. There is no substitute for quality education. The educational environment and delivery platform are both technologically innovative and user-friendly. Capella excels in its core competencies which ultimately create competent students and future business and academic professionals. I am proud to be part of this dynamic curriculum and program. The cons however have to do with the changing landscape of education, delivery systems, and costs. these are cons that all institutions face; however, Capella faces them remarkably well.
