Degree: Healthcare Administration

The pros of my classes because they are online and convenient for my everyday activities. I love the fact that I can log on at anytime to attend to my work and still be able to spend quality time with my family. Also, I can balance my full and part time job as well.

I thoroughly enjoy being a graduate student through Capella University. There is a strong support system from both faculty and other students. The program is extremely effective and flexible, which is great for me since I also work full time. So far I have not been disappointed by anything that Capella University has to offer.

The courses are very challenging, so I know that I'm getting a high quality education. However, sometimes, the workload is too much, especially for a full time mom and full time employee.

I feel that the prons of graduate school out weigh the cons. Financial aid for graduate students is definitely a pro. There are not many choices. Pros are expanding learning and learning more profound ways of thinking.

Graduate school in an online program decrease the use of transportation and the stress of being in a classroom setting. Stressors in a graduate online program include the lack of ability to make genuine connections to students and faculty.

Capella online campus is very technologically savvy, even if you are not. They have an abundance of online and offline training to make sure that all students have an opportunity to hone their technological skills. The professors and academic advisors are very helpful, though they are sometimes difficult to touch bases with live. The work load is composed mostly of reading thus far ( I am a 1st year), and much of it pertains to the licensing requirements for your state so to be sure there are no misunderstandings, incorrect expectations, or overlooked required curricula. This type of instruction definitely requires dedication and students should be aware that structure is imperative, especially if you must share your studying time with other life obligations.

I transferred from another graduate school and have been very pleased with Capella. I find the classes to be stimulating with the appropriate amount of work. I am taking on-line classes and this offers its own set of challenges. Capella does a great job with preparing you to be an on-line student before you even begin your first class.
