Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2013

High quality education, faculty that are committed to mentoring students (obviously not every single one but the majority!), residencies offer an opportunity to network and learn new skills in a hands on environment. Affordable (as far as online grad school goes). Forget the "for profit" argument - Capella's profit is the value it gets from successful students!

Online environment is beneficial for those currently working and attending classes. Easy to understand course progression and expectations for Capstone Project.

Pros of Capella University= professors are competent in their field and willing to give feedback and support to their students. The admissions and advisors are very helpful and supportive. The online library is extensive. The students give a diverse community in the course rooms. Cons of Capella University= sometimes the course of 10 weeks goes too quickly. If a course as too many students, it is difficult to do group work.

I have been very impressed with Capella and their PhD program. It is a long journey but well worth it. The support of the faculty and college are impressive.

All of my classes are done online. I have no need of traveling, campus affordability, or housing.

I am really enjoying the coursework. The academic counselors are great. They are very attentive and resourceful. The work load at Capella varies with the course. It is meaningful and challenging
