Student & Graduate Reviews

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2014

After attending school at a brick and mortar institution, I can say that the courses at Capella were on par with a typical college and for the most part more difficult. The challenge was not met with anything but extraordinary professors who were more than willing to assist in any way possible, much more than I experienced at my campus university. I am currently looking at a doctoral program through Capella because of the success and challenge I found in their MPA program.

The graduate program is great, however financial planning was not complete and now I find myself in hardship. I feel that a more careful evaluation of my student loan situation should have been completed to assure that I wouldn't be now through course work but without help for disssertation.

Amazing faculty, supportive staff who truly care about the students at Capella. Outstanding career preparation program.

The overall grade is incorrect as I did not need to address issues unrelated to an online program. I am very happy with Capella University overall. The pros are the convenience of online study. Cons - I had one teach who was not very responsive (and one fantastic teacher). The web site isn't as user friendly as it could be, but there is a wealth of information on it.

I am currently enrolled in the online program and I have to say that the professors are knowledgeable and available. I have a variety of individuals and personalities in my classes. I love being able to learn at my own pace.

I am completing on online program so some of the items that can be rated don't apply to me. I am very happy with the school I am attending. There wasn't a N/A rating for Transportation, Student Diversity, Social Life, Affordability of Living and Campus Safety. The only thing I could say negative about the program is the school grants or scholarships that are available to students are not available for me to apply to because of the program I am in. Because I can not apply for school based scholarships, I am searching and applying for other scholarship opportunities. I am fortunate to be completing the degree with Capella University.

Degree: Liberal Arts
Graduation Year: 2015

I have been a graduate student at Capella since 2010. The faculty and administration is truly concerned about my succeeding my program and continues to update and give me the best of new texts and curriculum that will aid in my success. I would recommend Capella to any person who wants to continue their education but has a full time job, or family, but want an accredited school education. I am very grateful that I am at Capella it is one of the better online universities around that offer, great classes, financial aid stability, and a curriculum that meets the needs of my lifestyle. The online interaction between the faculty, and administration is awesome. I always get my issues and questions solved on the telephone and internet in an amount of time that does not take me away from my studies.

Pros -It's convenient Cons- too expensive

Capella offers a wide array of programs for those interested. Unfortunately, there isn't much financial assistance to graduate students apart from federal student loans.
