Capella offers a wide array of programs for those interested. Unfortunately, there isn't much financial assistance to graduate students apart from federal student loans.

I love being able to work on my PhD without leaving home. So far the school and staff have been helpful and professional. I am looking forward to the next three years of being a Capella student!

Pros: diverse in students and instructors. Military friendly. Realistic schedules and syllabuses for students who are full time in student/employees. Technical team are awesome and quick in responses and resolutions. Course advisors are really supportive and efficient. Cons: Tuition is pricey and there are no courses offered that are shorter than ten weeks.

Capella University has been a life line for me while going through a divorce. My program has allowed me to understand the ramifications surrounding domestic violence and its characteristics. I am able to relate real life events to my course work and expound on the course work in a scientific and professional manner. Graduate school has shown me that I can do anything that I set my mind to accomplish. My experiences at Capella University have been total professionalism with the faculty and staff. The professors provide everything that is needed for a student's success. You fail at Capella because you do not apply yourself.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2015

The pros of the MBA program are the quality of the work. I love that it challenges me to push myself to write and research better. The major con is not being able to see faces. I know that was the choice I made when picking an online university, but sometimes seeing another face would be great.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2017

Great program. Have to find internship places on my own....I wish there could be more help with that. It's also very expensive, with only student loans available for grad students in my field. Wish there were grants or scholarships available. It is an excellent program, however, and I'm enjoying it and learning a lot. The instructors are also clinicians and have lots of counseling experience. Most have doctorates also. They are very knowledgeable about the field directly.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2015

The Pros of Capella University is that I'm able to study online at my own pace. The Cons are there is not enough Financial Aid available to help me achieve my Goals at the end.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2015

I love online learning because of the flexibility it affords. I also find that focusing on discussion questions outside of the classroom gives me time to think about them and effectively add to the conversation whereas in the classroom you have to think fast and are put on the spot for participation. I have had really great professors and each class is very diverse in students providing for many different perspectives and great discussions.

Degree: Liberal Studies
Graduation Year: 2015

I really appreciate that I can take and apply what I've learned in a course and use it in everyday life. It appears a lot easier. I don't like that there are times when assignments are due in different courses at different times and its unclear but its workable. I really enjoy the interaction I have with the instructors.
