Student & Graduate Reviews

4.17 out of 5.0
Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2015

I feel the pros are that I am learning more than I expected from an online program and the professors are willing to help you when you donot understand the work. The cons are the cost and I keep missing the scholarship deadlines due to family and work obligations. When I look to apply the scholarship deadline has already passed. Overall it is still a great school and I cannot wait to finish my program.

I love this program. However, I do not need to worry about campus safety, social life, surrounding area, or transportation. The professors are very helpful, my classmates always respond to each other.

I feel the con about my program is the communication to provide a realistic exception is not provided when applying to the university. The pro's of the program are the quality of instructors.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2014

This is a good school academically. Yet, the toughest part is the fieldwork portion. It has been very difficult to secure a placement on my own.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2016

Capella's online graduate program allows the learner to work full-time and still work on furthering their education and complete a Master's Degree. This program also provides opportunity for the learner seeking a Counseling degree to obtain hand-on skills through a required residency course. The faculty are helpful, knowledgeable and informative about the subjects they teach.

Degree: Vocational
Graduation Year: 2016

The courses are aligned very well with what you need to be successful in this field (training & performance improvement). Between the quality of the courses and the flexibility of the program, it's a great choice - especially if you already have professional experience in the field.
