Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2015

My doctoral educational experience at Capella has been a very positive one in that I have received strong encouragement and support from my admissions counselors, academic advisers, fellow classmates, and current faculty. I truly believe that I am valued as a member of the institution and evidence of this has been provided from day one. My curriculum in Educational Leadership is very challenging from an academic and time management perspective, however, I have multiple resources to assist me in these areas: Writing Center, Library Resources, Courseroom tutorials, Critical Friends Corner, Smartthinking, and Turnitin.com. Initially, I had some reservations about pursuing my doctoral degree due to being out of the graduate school for 12 years, not to mention my my family and career demands, however, things are going well and I look forward to much continued support.

Capella is a pretty good school. They do not require the GRE. I think that they should. But otherwise, they are great.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2014

Capella University has helped me develop as a person, student, and employee. I feel that the online Masters of Business Administration program offered by Capella helps push students to become technologically savvy; as well as, independent. Capella has given me the tools needed to become successful as a student without just giving me the answers. Research, time, and dedication are needed to fully develop the skills of a MBA graduate. Capella is a school that requires hard work to succeed and I feel that they will assist you with finding resources to help you do so. I am now confident in myself to take on projects in my career because I have formed the critical thinking skills that my employers can depend on and trust. I am truly happy with the education that I am receiving through Capella and I would recommend this school to others that are looking for a challenge.

Degree: Counseling

This program is online and can accomadate most learners at any stage of life. It was the only way that I was able to return to school and I am very pleased by the amazing faculty and support I receive, especially for an online program.

Degree: Counseling

I think completing a degree online is often times difficult, but I have found success with Capella. It is a hard and demanding program, but the rewards will be much greater. This is my first online experience and I think it is great. The biggest challenge is financing. There are limited or no resources for graduate programs unless it is loans.

Attending Capella University has been a wonderful experience and is a choice I am glad I made. The instructors are willing to help learners reach their personal and educational goals while helping learners gain the necessary education for meeting those goals. The support staff is great and helpful with issues that learners may have from financial aid to the library.

I have no "cons" about Capella. Everyone has been extremely helpful in answering all of my questions in a very prompt manner. Navigating the system is not difficult at all; and should I have questions, the staff is simply an email or phone call away.

Degree: Healthcare Management
Graduation Year: 2016

Overall its a good program for those that have busy full time jobs and need a degree to get ahead but don't have time to do executive programs. The school uses technology which I really like and teaches you a great deal about the different types of technology. Workload isn't that much if you're use to juggling work loads in undergrad.
