As an online Learner, one must be focused despite the activities of daily living, that can be many. I can always call divisions at Capella for questions and support. At times the course facilitator may/may not work with a Learner's need for revamping course schedule, but then, that is up to the professor/facilitator. There have been instances that had to withdraw or take a failing grade but have bounced back. Online is not for the faint at heart, it requires discipline and hard work. Nonetheless, once the coursework had been mastered, the reward is immense self-satisfaction.

A couple of them do not apply to me because I am a online student, and I haven't been to a Capella Campus as of yet. The online school I love, very easy to navigate around the classes and into your account or email. I really do not have anything bad to say about Capella I think it is a very good school. All of my Professors that I have had are very knowledgeable about their degree when teaching. I like the way they interact with us through out our posting.

The pros of my graduate program is that you can complete your degree from your home and at the same time count with the professors supports. I do not have any cons for my graduate program.

I feel supported in my education. I feel that while it is not the university's fault, online courses while convenient, lack the depth that one might receive on campus.

Capella University is rigorous and challenging. I have had a great experience attending Capella, and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2015

My doctoral educational experience at Capella has been a very positive one in that I have received strong encouragement and support from my admissions counselors, academic advisers, fellow classmates, and current faculty. I truly believe that I am valued as a member of the institution and evidence of this has been provided from day one. My curriculum in Educational Leadership is very challenging from an academic and time management perspective, however, I have multiple resources to assist me in these areas: Writing Center, Library Resources, Courseroom tutorials, Critical Friends Corner, Smartthinking, and Turnitin.com. Initially, I had some reservations about pursuing my doctoral degree due to being out of the graduate school for 12 years, not to mention my my family and career demands, however, things are going well and I look forward to much continued support.

Capella is a pretty good school. They do not require the GRE. I think that they should. But otherwise, they are great.
