The school offers excellent programs that area tailored to the needs of working individuals and those with families. I love the atmosphere online and the professors have all been instrumental in ensuring my success as a graduate students. The academic advisors are also great an keeping the learners on track for graduation and providing reminders via email and phone calls to remind and assist learners with course registration each semester.

Pros: The program was sufficient with student involvement, accountability and affordability. The financial aid, military accommodations and technical support facilitators gave proper guidance for a successful graduation. Cons: The blackboard format was difficult to learn and the inconsistent course facilitators on grading made each class transition challenging.

The pros to an online graduate program is the ability to work on your own time and not feel the pressure of deadlines. I have paced myself inorder to have my personal deadlines to getting assignment completed. The cons to online instruction is that you dont have the face to face ability to ask question how little or big they could be. Thus, leaving you in late nights questioning if you are using the best approach.

The pro is that Capella is one of two schools in the the nation with distance learning that hold a CRCREP certification. The down side is the amount of time it takes to complete the program.

The pros consisted of the ability to work full time and complete degree online as not to interfere with work. The cons were that the work load was astronomically high. Felt the school was trying to prove that they were legit by requiring an abundance of work.

Studying online the physical characteristics are less important, while the financial aid and career opportunities/connections are vastly important. My rating for these is in response to having little to no real pathway for career opportunities during courses, or upon graduation, as well as no scholarship/tuition help-which is very inconvenient because online tuition is much more expensive than traditional schools, with an added stigma.
