Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2015

I believe I got an excellent education from Capella. The only down side is that it is an online-based school, and I felt employers look down upon this still. I hope that this will change in the future, because I did get a great education, though I had to fight to defend my degree.

Degree: Education Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

I enjoyed each one of the classes that I took to complete my degree program. The orientation class (the first class you take before you get started with your program) was very helpful and it was one of the reasons why I believe I did so well. A good introduction was important to me and really a determining factor to if I would stay with the program at this institution or move forward elsewhere. I am happy with what I learned, their competency format is great. The professors were attentive, easy to communicate with, and did a good job explaining course expectations and content.

If one is interested in taking classes completely online, I strongly recommend this school. The blackboard that is used is easy to navigate and there is always technical help available. The professors are greatly helpful and in the doctoral program, there are TAs in the classes that help also. The course work is not too heavy and there is always help among the other students as well as the professor. There are discussion to do weekly (either 1 or 2) and all assignments are posted as soon as the class starts. I completed my Master's program through Capella also. I was terrified of working on my final project to get my Master's, but Capella made it very easy. My whole last class was strictly for writing that final paper. Each week, a piece of the paper was due and the professor would provide great feedback. By the end of the class, the final paper was complete. The doctoral program has a lot of support. The classes can be taken at your own pace and in an order that benefits you. There are 3 residencies that need to be taken and they last a full weekend. The time is spent to prepare your topic for acceptance so that the study can be conducted. Most professors that I have had have been easily accessible whether over the phone or through email.

Degree: MBA in Marketing
Graduation Year: 2018

So far my education while attending Capella has been excellent. The amount of support they provide to help you get acclimated and to help you be successful in your courses is outstanding. I was initially very nervous about going back to school, and especially hesitant about going to school online. Capella's programs are perfect for those who work full time, and I have found that I am able to balance my work with my courses effectively. I am anticipating an A in my first course, and my great professor and academic coach helped tremendously! The MBA in Marketing fits perfectly for the goals I hope to achieve in my future. Looking forward to graduating!

Degree: Marriage & Family Therapy
Graduation Year: 2020

I am currently studying to earn my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling. The experience has been great so far with challenging coursework. I am loving my courses, content, instructors, as well as peers. The cost of each credit is not too expensive where I believe the education is well worth the struggle.

Degree: Human Services
Graduation Year: 2013

I enjoyed going to Capella. It allowed me to stay at home with my children and be a part of their activities. I was also, able to move when the military required us to move. I am applying to return to Capella University to earn a masters degree in Social Work. I am hoping to start in July.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2019

Capella university has offered me everything I wanted in a doctoral program. They have good degree programs, and a great student support staff. I can get answers in less than 24 hours. You will find this very important. I study 100% online, this allows me many more opportunities than if I was to go to a campus.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2008

Capella has a great program. It is a stepping stone that helps a learner achieve success. It is worth the work. I love all I am learning in this program. Statistics are that are less than 1% of people receive a doctorate in any area. If this is a dream of yours to receive a degree, this is the time to stop dreaming and apply and start your doctoral journey today.

Degree: Dental Assistant

Enjoy the interaction with fellow students and instructors. Classes are informative and even if you have had no or limited experience you can still engage in the material to help gain the knowledge needed to do well. Communication is always an important key to success. Engaging in the course room helps you learn and work with your peers.
