CMU has a great education program - education counseling department needs work.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

I have enjoyed my time at Central Michigan however I am not able to comment on several of the items because I live in a different state and I take all of my classes online. I am a Grad student so I do not qualify for financial aid nor have I received any scholarships. The hard part is that some of the professor do not consider that I am a working adult, but of course this is a Master Program and I make the best of it. :-)

Being an online student is new and requires a lot of self time management.

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2018

Central Michigan University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program provides you with a close knit group of students who have similar goals as you. The education quality is hard to beat, and the support of the staff and faculty is great! The only issue I have with this university is the tuition rates and how they increase every year. They also have very limited scholarships for the graduate students.

Degree: Instructional Technology
Graduation Year: 2018

This is a new, fully online doctorate degree. I am part of the first cohort where there is great support within the cohort as well as from the faculty. Being fully online, transportation, housing, and social life areas of the survey do not necessarily apply (however I answered based on my knowledge of the campus/surrounding area). The only con is there is currently no scholarships affiliated with this specific program.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2019

Central Michigan has provided me with the best possible education for Pre-Medical courses and my career path of Medicine. Their Alternative Breaks and International programs are top ranked and engage students in hands-on philanthropy, field work, team-building and leadership opportunities. Their connections to clinics across the state has truly enriched my collegiate experience and have enhanced my resource base to further build on as I pursue my medical degree. The faculty is geared towards student success, and nothing less. Professors come to campus on the weekends for study sessions, stay late during the week, and continuously bend over backwards for students in order to promote their individualized learning habits and success. If I had to do it all over again, I would select C.M.U. AGAIN, without second thought. I could go on for hours about how many opportunities I have been afforded through C.M.U, the Honors Scholar Program, and School of Health Sciences. From research, teaching assistance, interactive labs, field work, international excursions, leadership camps, and so on... C.M.U. offers infinite opportunity for personal, academic, and professional advancement. I am a proud Chippewa, and will forever bleed maroon and gold. Fire Up!

Degree: Healthcare Management
Graduation Year: 2016

I am going to school through the Global Campus, for a Master of Science in Administration: Health Service Administration concentration. The majority of my classes are online. They are offered in a shortened, 8-week intensive format. This allows me to continue to work full-time and still complete my degree in a 2-year time frame. I have found the class content to be challenging and I feel like I am learning much is applicable to my current and future career goals. I would highly recommend this program to anyone seeking an online, or mostly online, graduate degree.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2015

Pros: convenient, instructors are very interactive and accessible, layout of courses, global campus. Con's: Expensive books, as most are. More career planning assistance for working adults or more exposure to job fair on global campuses.
4.0 out of 5.0
Degree: Organizational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2016

The rating is based the professors, classes offered and involvement of the administration. CMU offers flexibility for working adults, but it is costly if you do not receive financial assistance.

I have had an very good experience at Central Michigan University Global Campus. The professors and admin staff have been great to work with and I would highly recommend the program.
