Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Family)
Graduation Year: 2016

ONLY enroll here if A- you are a parent juggling small kids or B- if you work full time and need flexibility. The general classes such as research, theory are boring but required. semesters are very quick only 8 weeks, very little time to make up for mistakes/bad grades. The clinical coordinator will loose you information not once but several times and blame you. No matter how well prepared you are for clinicals and getting providers to sign on this school will drop the ball on you several times and make you pick up the slack. There is NO help in clinical placement. They even told me" we are so overwhelmed you are now required to find them on your own". Once you are in clinicals there is no more advocacy for you as a student. No one wants to help with administrative errors/provider problems. Get this degree somewhere you can place your butt in a seat and have a university organize clinicals for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chamberlain College Of Nursing is an excellent online program for all nurses who want to advance their career and pursue a higher level of education. This is especially suitable for those working individuals that can't commit to a full-time school schedule and want to take their courses in the comfort of their home or work schedule. I loved the fact that I could only take one class every eight weeks and move on to the next one. The staff is very helpful, and their customer service is exemplary. They are very efficient, and the layout of the courses are very straight forward. They also provide you with many resources to pay for your tuition. I highly recommend this university to all my fellow nurse.

Degree: Healthcare Administration
Graduation Year: 2018

Chamberlain school of Nursing is quite popular for nursing students wanting to further their education as Nursing Practitioners (NP). Unknown to many, they also offer many great degree programs in the field of nursing (one of which is healthcare policy, administration and management). I will recommend that you consider this school for all your other non NP career goals

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2017

This school provided an excellent education. It was very easy to navigate the student portal and provided me an excellent education while working full-time. It was almost all online except for one weekend and allowed me to work at my own pace and at the time I was available. I especially like that the school provided a review course in the last class that helped organize and expand on the knowledge I had already learned.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2014

I found the on-line program to be informative and very interactive. Everyone was enrolled into the classes because they wanted to advance their careers, so everyone fully participated on the on-line discussions. The student population was diverse with many different career paths so it was amazing to read the different takes that everyone had on a situation. Instructors and students alike would ask more probing questions to assure that you understood the topic and they had a clear understanding of it as well.

Love this college. Was very upfront with what to expect during the enrollment process as well as working towards my degree. Teachers are very helpful and there is IT available 24/7. Since most of my classes are online this highly important to me. Would highly suggest looking into. Plus you get to take one class at a time which is helpful when your a full time working single mother!

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Family)
Graduation Year: 2017

Chamberlain School of Nursing is great for students seeking a master's degree online. Although classes are online, you are responsible for how much time you willing to take in order to learn. Online learning for the Family Nurse Practitioner Program is wonderful due to many nurses working full-time and having families which makes it hard to attend class. The instructors are very supportive with being sure we achieve each core competency for that course in relation to the program's curriculum. With preparation for practicum, Chamberlain does an immersion weekend where time is taken to review and practice advanced physical assessment skills. In order to move forward, the student must pass check-offs. This weekend helps tremendously with the preparation for practicum which begins in January 2017. Nurses currently have assessment skills but in depth assessments illicit critical thinking to a greater degree. All staff have been helpful with applying to Chamberlain School of Nursing, registering for classes, and providing financial assistance where needed. I have referred many friends to gain information for this program. Some have applied and are expected to begin in 2017. Overall, I must say I am highly pleased with this institution and feel I have made the right choice with advancing my education and degree.

I would recommend Chamberlain College of Nursing online courses to whom ever would like to attend college. I have truly enjoyed my experience. The courses were short and work at your own pace. The professors gave you opportunities to ask questions and they responded with in reasonable time when you needed them.
