Graduation Year: 2015

The program in which I am enrolled has several pros such as the international study abroad program, educated professors who work in the field as well as teach, etc. However, the con about the school, is that it is very expensive.

The graduate program offers such diverse concentrations that one can tailor their academic needs to their specific program of interest. The school also emphasizes diversity which is important in a psychology discipline because of the individuals we will serve. I love my school for the flexibility of being online and the accessibility of the academic staff. Overall this is one of my greatest learning experiences.

I feel since it's not like a campus it's just a campus building for the school it's really difficult to rate for some of the things. Overall though, the teachers are great, and the location isn't bad with stores and restaurants nearby. And the program is amazing how it is laid out for class loads especially if you also work full/part time.

The school is overall a great school. I have learned more than I expected to learn and glad I chose to go to this school. Their financial aid staff are difficult to work with, but their student advisors are very good.

Wonderful instructors and discussion times in class! The role plays and practical examples are so useful for professional development. The theories classes are excellent. Not all the instructors are knowledgeable of eCollege, so feedback and grading is not always available for students throughout the semester.

The only bad thing I have to say about my program or the school in general is that they focus a lot on clinical psychology, but forget that there are business psychologist or I/O psychologists there as well. For example, it seems there are more clinically geared events and guest speakers than for other programs.

The school is a private university in California. It can be a little expensive but overall it's a great school for psychology.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2016

This is a very good program to enter if you plan on pursuing something beyond a bachelors in counseling psychology. Staff and faculty are great! They are available and willing to work with you. I believe the course work and experience gained will help later on in the work field. I would recommend both this school and program to anyone interested in the field.
