The campus is beautiful. The professors are quite helpful as well. Small class sizes.

As a graduate of CNU I feel the small classes gave me the one on one education that I needed. The professors were approachable and were not busy working on books to to meet with you and discuss topics or for help. The Campus was designed with students in mind, and laid out for easy access to classes from other parts of the campus. In addition for the students who need to work, the area has access a wealth of job opportunities and internships. I was able to be exposed to an education that gave me better opportunities to work directly in my field and a small class environment that helped me be a better student.

The ENVS program is great! I've made so many contacts in different fields that I always feel like I have someone to contact about anything, should I want to discuss something I'm not an expert in. Professors in every department are more than willing to help you develop your thesis. Everyone is on your team here. As you evolve as a graduate student, they're right behind you.

The professors at CNU are great. They are willing to help answer any questions you have. They know what they are talking about and are eager to share their knowledge. I feel like I am receiving a quality education in the MAT program.

I'm incredibly grateful for the time I spent in Christopher Newport University's Teaching Program. I received a lot of support from the programs faculty, especially during my student teaching experiences, and I especially benefited from the one-on-one mentoring provided to me during my student teaching experience by my university supervisor. The quality of our education was also exceptional. While the work was rigorous, I left CNU with many of the practical skills I needed to properly manage even a challenging classroom and with the understanding of various learning styles and how to access those styles that every great teacher needs. I truly believe this program has prepared me to be a great teacher.
