There are very few career options for my graduate degree. This is not told to you up front. I feel that CSU just sees it as a money making venture.

Degree: Liberal Arts
Graduation Year: 2014

CSU isn't culturally diverse. Growing up in a big city and different culture makes it pretty hard adjusting to living in Fort Collins. The culture shock has negatively impacted on my mind. However the quality of research based teaching is very inspiring and leaves me looking forward to replicating the same thing as a future professor.

While it can be quite a bit of work to get through this program, you know you are getting out of it what you put into it. Put in the effort, and you will be rewarded with fantastic references from very respected professors and researchers.

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2013

Fort Collins is great, but the Health Communication concentration could have some more class options.

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2014

Not many hands-on activities until your junior and senior years. The class sizes are large, so you don't really get to know the clinical professors until your third and fourth years.

Degree: Fine Arts
Graduation Year: 2014

The teachers are really helpful, but ultimately Fine Arts degrees are what you make of them, regardless of the expertise of the staff.

Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2016

The school is more a commuter college located in downtown Denver.

CSU is a very large and diverse community of students. Library and reference services are very extensive. Faculty are very insightful and helpful when they are not traveling for many international conferences and collaborations and lectures. Many of the sciences programs have national and world leaders in the field. It is an exciting place to be for graduate school.
