"I had a wonderful experience as a student of Colorado State University in Fort Collins. The campus is beautiful, it is a large school but still allows you to feel part of a community. My English professors were engaging and helpful, and my education professors were hands on and brought us into many diverse school environments."

"CSU is a great place to study business. However, I recommend getting involved in an area of interest RIGHT AWAY. It is a big school and a big program, so it can be easy to get lost in the number of students. Get to know your professors and get involved in an area of interest, and it will make a big program seem smaller. That being said, it is a great program if you are assertive in making the most of it."

"CSU Global Campus empowered me to reach my full potential. Their online degree made it possible for me to graduate while being a single mother of two infant boys. Completing my undergraduate degree was essential to continuing my academics in law school. The programs were intense, but the schedule was flexible, and the organization of the curriculum was prioritized, this was easier to keep track off. The routine was easy to implement and you had resources available like extremely qualified teachers and a complete online library."

"The campus is beautiful and Fort Collins is a fun town. With all the free recreation with the mountains and lakes and cute downtown, you can find something to do without spending a fortune. The professors I encountered at CSU were extremely knowledgeable. CSU is a research-focused school and it showed with how current professors were with the latest knowledge in their respective fields. Most professors truly cared about student learning and making sure we understood the material. You can't skate through, they really want you to come out of a class with new knowledge. CSU has both the education you need and the fun to make college memorable."

"Colorado State University is an excellent institution for Colorado Residents. Without the generous understanding of the financial aid office, I would have been unable to attend university and graduate with my bachelor's degree. Their priority is clearly helping students to achieve their goals, and are willing to do whatever they can to help you. My degree in English Literature was affordable and positioned me well to pursue my career of choice: teaching English as a Foreign language in other countries. Many foreign employers were impressed that I had a degree in English from a well-recognized university. I encountered so many helpful and brilliant professors during my time at CSU. Years later, I am still in touch with many of them. Despite the fact that CSU is a large university, many professors expend a lot of effort to make themselves available to you during office hours. They are willing and excited to get to know their students more personally. Overall, there is a wonderful campus culture of respect and inclusion. It's has all the benefits of being a large state university (lots of opportunities, exciting things on campus, an AMAZING college town ) and invests in off-setting the downsides (large classes, impersonal feel, etc) by really investing in ways for individual students to plug in and connect personally with the school and professors. I couldn't recommend Colorado State University Fort Collins more highly to anyone who is looking for an affordable degree in a friendly, supportive, and exciting environment."

"I fell in love with Colorado State University's campus and the town of Fort Collins. It is a very relaxed and fun atmosphere with a lot of opportunities to enjoy art, music, and theatre. I changed my major in Freshman year and the process was very easy. I was encouraged by my professors and advisors throughout my entire four years and felt supported. I also found a great job with the student newspaper that helped me explore other parts of the university. Overall, I enjoyed my college experience at CSU."

"I was in the CSU-Online Plus program. This is a great program for individuals who can't make it on-campus courses but still want a degree where you gain an in-depth knowledge of your chosen degree. I felt that I received a broad choice of topics in psychology to take courses in and some of the courses were fantastic. I loved my Forensic and Abnormal Psychology courses. I learned a lot in the Cognitive Psychology, Sensation and Perception, even in Statistics. In most course I felt that I had great support from my professors and their graduate students, who were willing to answer questions, although sometimes there could be a delay in getting an answer. The only criticisms I have with the program are one: if you are a Colorado resident they won't allow you to use your COF stipend and two: you have to fight to gain the attention of advisers, some professors and other campus faculty. There can be a huge disconnect in communication between online students and the program. Make sure to be vocal if you are part of this program."

"Colorado State University is ranked well nationally for their veterinary school program. The professors are very knowledgeable and have the resources to make learning interesting. The curriculum is traditional and you spend a lot of time in the classroom for your first two years, however, the Veterinary Teaching Hospital is close and a great learning tool. There are clubs and extracurricular activities for both the veterinary students and pre-veterinary students."

"My experience at Colorado State University-Fort Collins was nothing short of spectacular. From the first moment I stepped on campus for my 'Preview' as a Freshman, I felt like I was part of a community full of motivated individuals. Colorado State University is not only great on campus, but it is also good for students who have major life changes that require online learning to be an option. I was given the opportunity to be an online student after attending school on-campus for 2 years because of a personal situation and I was impressed by how well faculty and staff facilitated my transition. I cannot say enough about how valuable my time at CSU was because I am still feeling the benefits of receiving my degree to this day. I know that CSU help propel me to success in my professional life, and did well to make the decision to pursue my graduate degree very easy."

"The Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University is exceptional. I received my bachelors degree in Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology in 2012 and couldn't have been happier about the program, my education and the staff. My class sizes were small which made it easy to make friends and get support for homework and tests, My professors were all willing to make time to answer questions outside of class and provide guidance for my future. There were plenty of opportunities to join career development clubs for networking and additional experience. The College in general is extremely hands on and I felt very prepared and well rounded upon entering the workforce after graduation. Overall. I was happy with Colorado State University. Though it is a big school I felt that there was a lot of support as a student. Fort Collins is great and I am so excited to be returning as a graduate student this fall!"

"Colorado State was an amazing experience that I would choose again if I had the choice to do it again. CSU has fantastic instructors many of which are from the real world rather than academic. Having learned from these professors provided me with the experience I needed to be successful."

"CSU was a fantastic school. I was looking for a smaller college after I went to UGA for 1.5 years and could not handle the large classes and the unhelpful professors. CSU was the perfect choice for me. CSU advised me on classes to take and when to take them, the classes were relatively small, and the professors and TA's were extremely helpful. I only wish that CSU had offered more opportunities on how to proceed after graduation. I felt a little thrown into the world not knowing what to do next."

"Colorado State University provided me with all of the educational opportunities I needed in order to both pursue a career in the human services field, as well as apply to graduate school programs for school counseling and mental health awareness. During my time here, I took on a full time load of classes while raising my son, and my professors were always accommodating and encouraged me to do the best I could do, and to never take on more than I could handle. Some of my professors and mentors now feel like family to me, as they always pushed me but had my back through the hard moments. CSU is an extremely diverse campus, and the student body goes to great lengths to include anyone to the RAM family. I am proud to be a CSU Ram alumni, and hope to begin my Graduate school experience there this upcoming fall so I stay with my family."

"Colorado State University (CSU) has such a welcoming atmosphere and has provided me with an environment that fosters collaboration rather than competition, helping me recognize that it is okay to go through trials and errors to discover my passion. The support that I have received from the faculty and my peers was something I have never experienced before and I have learned to say yes to every opportunity."

The campus itself also gives students places to study and grow while working towards their educational goals."

"For the most part, the professors are kind and engaged. One professor frequently belittles and insults students, despite numerous complaints lodged about this dynamic. However, Colorado is a beautiful state, and I am still glad to have chosen this program."

"As an out of state student, CSU had all that I needed that I didn't know I needed. There is a great sense of community at CSU and the professors really go out of their way to make sure you are understanding the material. Professors will even meet with you outside of class time to help explain what they went over in class or to answer any questions you may have. CSU provides a lot of fun, safe events for undergraduate students to attend which makes it easy to meet other students and make lasting friendships. CSU has many clubs you are guaranteed to find one that fits your needs. CSU has such a fun atmosphere which includes athletic rivalries, school pride, and celebrating Colorado. I loved every minute at CSU and I know that you, future student and future Ram, will too!"

"CSU was an absolutely amazing experience. The professors were kind, caring and helpful. Since the program was about education, the entire experience was about how to do it well. From the course outlines to the syllabi, everything worked together to give me an incredible education. I made life-long friends and still stay in touch with professors. The campus is beautiful (had to go there for a week) and the cost was lower than most other schools. I'm looking to send my daughter there when she's ready for her master's and Ph.D. programs in a four years."
