Pros -- Online classes are one class at a time, taking into consideration the students at the graduate level are likely at higher levels of experience in their jobs than an undergraduate student. There are students online from around the world in each class; this offers a higher level of experience and diversity exposure for each student. Cons -- Less "hands-on" experience and more emphasis on theoretical knowledge is given.

The pros of my graduate program is that it works around my job, which is working at a Surgical Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio as a Medical Records Clerk. The faculty is awesome! They do their best to help you to success not only with the subjects but with the different scenario that will come in the business world. So far, I do not have any cons. I been going to Colorado Technical University since 2010, to get my Bachelor's Degree, which I received in 2011. Now I will be graduating hopefully in the Fall of 2014 with my Masters Degree.

I thought this was the best way to complete my degree. I completed my Bachelors and am going to finish my Master by 2016. I am able to keep my current job and still complete my degree. I have referred all my friends and family to try it out. I love the use of technology to interact with my class mates and having the ability to go back to a class session in case I missed something. I highly recommend anyone to go to CTU Online.

The grade I have chosen leaves room for much needed improvement. Most instructors I have had were helpful but some were not. The school financial aid could provide more funds especially to a single mom with 3 kids and no income at this time. I rely on my student loans to get me through but they are all going towards the school. I have had many implications with the financial department about processing my financial documents and with that meaning they have not called or emailed me in regards to having things turn in. I have to call to ensure everything is going right. I feel it is there job to tell their students if something is missing. I don't mind the classroom homework and due times are easy to accomplish. I would probably not recommend this school. I will probably not return back to this school after my bachelors. I am just used to the workload and I am not sure if I want another headache with going through this with another school. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Regina Mulligan

Because I travel extensively for work, I had few options for a graduate program in my profession - IT Project Management. Colorado Technical University was one of the few institutions offering an entirely online program to obtain my Master's Degree. The quality of the studies and the faculty is exceptional. CTU is well respected by employers also. I could not be more pleased with the experience at CTU. I expect to graduate in September of 2014 and am looking forward to hanging that diploma on my wall.

Very good Online program, very good online interaction, it feels almost like a campus environment! However, the Financial Aid department really needs to focus on NOT just "Pushing" student Loans! I cannot afford to repay the total amount that these loans will cost over the term of my master's degree Program! I WANT Grants andor Scholarship options, too!!!!!!

There is pros and cons with this school. If you intend to complete all your studies with this school then it is a good choice. However, if you plan on going to another school and they require letters of recommendation, do not expect to get them from the faculty. I tried several times during my undergrad studies to get them to apply to another school for my graduate and each time the professor said school policy prevented them from doing this. Also if you want hand on experience in the field you chose then again this is not a good fit. CTU graduate classes in business administration tend to be more theory based and less hand on practice. But if you are like me and like the theory side of things then this is a good fit.

The Colorado Technical University online program has a lot to offer when it comes to technology, as well as ease of understanding. The textbooks are included in your fees, which is nice, but also can be a con since textbooks can be found cheaper online. I must say the price is the main downfall. Although everything is packaged into one convenient fee(which is covered fully by financial aid), it is much more expensive than some of the other programs I've looked at which are comparable. I did decide to finish out my degree with CTU however, because I do enjoy the academic experience, and the variety of assignments. For an online school, they do make sure to kind of "spice up" the routine by having group work, powerpoints, papers, discussion boards, and even financial worksheets. This is nice because it utilizes different skill sets. I don't like the fact that there are no "electives" or classes that you get to choose. Everything is already laid out for you. I'd like to see more options there. Overall, I'm happy with my experience and I am already applying a lot of the concepts I've learned.
