The all online program allowed me to work from my home or on the go. I was able to work full time and complete my program in just over a year.

From the day I considered it until I finished my degree, I had a great deal of support! The admissions reps were helpful and not pushy. I also got my books free and a free iPad. I decided to stay and continue my doctorate there, and got an alumni scholarship as well!

I liked being able to complete my courses online. The things that I learned in my classes are very useful to me as a classroom teacher.

This program does have a repetitive pattern and once the student gets in the swing of things, it is easy to flow through the program. There are excellent professors at this school that go above and beyond the premade coursework. There are also some professors that don't respond to email in a timely manner. Courses are 5 weeks long, thus, any professor that responds after 48 hours is not doing justice to their student.

I am completing my Masters in Business Administration at Concordia University-Portland. It is a great place for any level of education for . It is close to my place of residence where buses are easy to come by. It has the most supportive stuff who are will to go in their way to help students with both academic and career opportunities. It is a great place to form networks and also helps with finding great internships and job opportunities around the world. However, it is a great school, it is very expensive to afford. Even though it has this disadvantage, I would recommend Concordia University to anybody who is willing to continue with their education regardless of their field of study.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2016

My goal is to combine a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with one in Educational Leadership to keep the mental state of my children at the forefront of my studies. While our custody case is still on-going, I was required to complete a parenting class that talked about how divorce affects the children in the marriage. This is a big worry to me, because of course I would like for my children to see that this isn't their fault and that we can still be a great family despite this unfortunate situation. Having a degree in Educational Leadership would help me be a better parent to my children, a better teacher to my underprivileged students, and to myself, it will confirm that there is life after the storm. I am determined to do whatever is necessary to achieve this goal which begins with a good education. That is why I am grateful to have been considered to Concordia University - Portland. The classes will certainly challenging, the advisors seem very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the programs offered, and I very much want to stay and complete my degree here. Please know that I am extremely focused on my future and my dedication to my education is paramount. Please allow me a chance to prove that I can be a model student and achieve academic excellence.

I am enjoying this online program. It is far more valuable than my undergrad and the cost is right about on point. However, I would like to see more interaction among students.

Doing an online graduate course has its pros and cons. It is accelerated and dense in order to help students--mostly working professionals--get through in a realistic length of time. At the same time, getting through such an accelerated program can be challenging. But I am so glad I chose Concordia University - Portland. It has a wonderful program through which I have learned a lot and helped further my career.

Concordia has a fine MAT program, though there are better values in the area.
