Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2019

I am a member of the first cohort of the doctoral program for Educational Leadership at Concordia University- Texas. I love the cohort approach and have already learned to rely heavily on the relationships that I am forming with my Cohort family. The course work is well designed to complete in the 3 year process and has a good balance of rigor and an understanding of the busy lives of working professionals. The hybrid approach is excellent. We have weekly assignments and discussions on-line, lots of reading and scholarly writing, and meet face to face once a month. The coursework is developed to support the successful completion of the dissertation. We began working on narrowing our topics, writing towards and developing the skills needed to conduct the research from day 1. The classes are taught by qualified faculty and the administration and professors really care about the students' experiences, making adjustments as needed. I would recommend this program to any working professional in education who is interested in taking the next step with their own educational process.

This is a very good program that will help prepare you to be an athletic administrator. I like that the program took the things you needed to learn and tied them into an athletic theme. All my professors have been very helpful and the system is easy to use. I also like the fact that I didn't have to take the GRE to get into the program.

Concordia University Seward was my undergrad college. My masters was at Concordia University Texas. Seward is a great Christian university. It is truly a place where students come closer to God. Class sizes are small and professors really do care about you there. They just added new athletic facilities 5 years ago and are top notch.

I loved it! It was online but all of the professors were very kind and responsive to emails and phone calls and offered good constructive criticism.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2014

Concordia University in Austin Texas was a great choice to attend for my Bachelors in Nursing degree. The professors would pray with us. We went on missions trips and the professors all had different background experience to teach each student. The school was always open for resources you needed. And all local hospitals in the area would give the school high ratings, because how prepared we were when visiting the hospital for clinicals.

Concordia University Texas is a Christian based and Christian centered university that focuses on developing the whole person. The faculty and staff are professional and caring and they exemplify Christ in their conversation and the way they conduct business whether on the phone or through written communication.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2016

I enjoy how quickly my Master's program has been put together. I also think that the work load is ok because it's one class at a time and runs sequentially. The only thing that has been a frustration is the inconsistency in our final project requirements for the class. We are just learning about what will be required of us and we have almost completed the program. It has been frustrating and several of the people in my cohort are not happy about it at all.

I'm just starting my Masters in Sports Administration. I feel each one left blank would go up.

Having my program online has been super convenient with my 60+ hour work weeks. I do miss the benefits of a traditional classroom however, with my work schedule, it would have been impossible to make it work. Everyone with the school, from admissions to my teachers (most of them) has been incredibly helpful.
